"Shit, get down," Rose whispered,

We all got down behind one of the shelves,

"Over there," Niki whispered and pointed to the shelf opposite us. She started crouch-walking towards and around it to a bathroom door.

"Perfect," Rose whispered excitedly. We crept into the bathroom and finally stood up.

"What about Jason and Jenna?" I asked.

"There's too many of them-" Rose was cut off by the conversation outside because a small window was open.

"We saw you, you have kids in your group, now tell us where they are or we'll finish you off," the woman threatened.

"That's messed up," Rose whispered.

"what? I don't understand," I said.

"Did you see those kids out there?" she asked, I nodded, "I think they're collecting kids for an army. To kill most of the corpses off but not worry about their life." I gulped at the thought.

"Well if you're not going to tell us, I guess we will have to make you," the mysterious woman sneered, "Emma, come here,"

We heard someone drag their feet up to the front.

"Yes," Emma said audibly annoyed.

"you know what," the woman said returning her attitude, "if you want to be fed and not thrown in the cage tonight."

She sighed, giving in to the threat "which one?" she asked.

"Him," the woman said heartlessly.

"But he's already been shot," Emma argued.

"Just do it," she replied somehow more harshly.

Emma sighed again and gave in entirely. Jason's screams filled the air, I blinked back tears as i stood there helplessly, she stopped after a couple of seconds.

"Anything to say now?" The woman asked Jason viciously.

"they're gone," Jason choked out, "they died and we took care of them."

"Well..." the woman said surprised, then returned to her malicious self, "I guess we have no use for you anymore."

Niki and I ran out there before she could load her gun. Jason's skin was covered in burns, his blood dripping on the concrete from where he held his thigh, Jenna was standing there shaking with her hands still up.

"Don't!" I nearly yelled as I stepped out into the sunlight, "we're here."

"Mel, Niki. What are you do-" Jason was cut off by the woman hitting him hard in the stomach with the back of her rifle, winding him.

She pointed her gun at us, "get in the truck."

We drove half an hour back into the city. Taking a different way than we took because all the cars were cleared off this road. There was also a small window on the top of the back door, we could try and stand and look out but it always ended up with us hitting out heads. The back of the truck was meant for transporting food or drinks and it wasn't very big for them, but for us it was way too big. We slid from the front to the back and side to side hitting our head, legs, arms, anywhere and everywhere.

"When do you think it will stop?" Willow asked.

"We should- OW- stop -OW- soon," I tried to say but the truck turned sharply.

Just then the truck slowed down,

"I think were getting close," I said hopefully.

When we finally stopped Niki and I got up to look out the tiny window, what we saw shocked us.

We were at our school...
