Natsu pov

'Beep beep beep' I slammed my hand on my alarm clock, nearly breaking the small box. It baffles me how annoying fragile these clocks can be. So noisy yet  so small. Where does it store the voice to wake me up in the morning? I stifled a yawn. I only managed to push the blankets off of me and stretch my arms before I was rudely interrupted by my older brother, Zeref Dragneel.

Fortunately, he was dressed in a somewhat decent manner. He wore a white t-shirt with a black hoodie, black baggy pants and black sneakers. He's a complete emo kid, him and his best friend Rouge.

"What do you want?" I asked boredly, not really wanting to be bothered. 

"Just came to wake you up but it seems that you're already up," he said, shrugging his shoulders. I rolled my eyes as I pushed myself off of the bed and began gathering my outfit pieces.

"I told you that I have an alarm that does its job. You don't need to come barging in here like a damn hooligan." 

"You and I both know that alarms don't work all the time." I grabbed my dagger whilst simultaneously rolling my eyes once more and chucked it at him. He caught it with ease, of course. Show off!

"Just get out and leave me be!"

"Whatever. Breakfast is on the counter, I'm going to school early." I ignored him as I walked into my bathroom and slammed the door shut on the way in. What an annoying brat he is.

I quickly took a shower and brushed my teeth. I then got dressed in a white t-shirt with a red hoodie, black skinny jeans and blue and white sneakers. I ran my hand through my semi wet hair and looked up at the mirror dully. I'm surprised it hasn't cracked yet.

I shrugged off my unwantedly degrading thought and walked out of my room not caring to lock the door. I swear my mind always has to share its unwanted opinion about my appearance. I did a little jog as I trotted down the stairs towards the kitchen. Immediately, I was hit with a sweet addictive aroma. It smelt like a meal fit for a King. I scanned the area. Oh ho ho, it seems that wonderful smell is coming from this silver platter placed so calculatingly at the center of the table.I pranced over to it and lifted the plate up to my nose to sniff it. Hmm no wonder it smelt so sickly sweet.

Growling, I tossed the thing in the garbage and walked over to the fridge. As I opened it, I was met with a grenade laying gracefully on a plate. Oh wow, cheap move Zeref. I casually grabbed the grenade and tossed it out the window  onto Zeref's bike. It exploded into pieces leaving a burnt mark on the ground. 

I slammed the fridge door closed, grabbed my bag, headphones and phone and left the house, locking the door behind me. Leave it up to Zeref to try and poison me. Now I'm going to hell with an angry stomach. Great.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Natsu Dragneel, I'm 17 years old and I'm a student of  Fairytail High. My older brother, Zeref Dragneel is 19 years old and he is 2 grades higher than me obviously.

I plugged in my headphones and listened to 'Boyfriend' By BTR.

A feeling of sadness filled my heart as I walked down the sidewalk. I just realized how single I am. This song got me switching emotions more than Ariana switches positions. Midway into walking, I bumped into someone causing them to fall on the ground. 

Gazing down, my eyes widened slightly and my cheeks ignited in pink. Adorable..

In front of me was a girl with long blonde hair tied into a high ponytail with a red hair tie , her bangs neatly brushed down and framing her face perfectly. She has very pale skin and big brown orbs. Her lips were parted slightly when she looked up at me.

I held my hand out to her. She grabbed it and I pulled her up. She was pretty light. She was wearing a  black sleeveless turtleneck  crop top with a red checkered miniskirt, black knee high socks and black ankle boots with red laces. I almost had a nose bleed with all the curves she has.

"Cute. ''I mumbled under my breath. She looked up at me, her cheeks tinted slightly. I just noticed the light dust of freckles on her cheeks. They look so perfectly placed up close. Did the heavens just decide to give all the beauty away and left me with all the ugly features or something?

"S-Sorry mister. I was rushing" she said shyly. Her voice is so cute. I shoved my hand in my pocket, feeling my heart beating a little faster.

"It's okay kitten" she looked up at me, her cheeks darkened a bit more.

"K-kitten?" She questioned. I pat her head softly.

"Yeah. I mean you're as cute as one ''I grinned. Her lips curved into the most adorable smile ever.

"Thanks. I'm Lucy, Lucy Heartfilia" she introduced herself.

"Natsu Dragneel '' I say flatly. We shook hands and  started to walk together, assuming that we were students of the same institution. "So you're new at Fairy Tail high?" I asked, trying to start a conversation. She looked over at me and smiled. My heart fluttered. Like a bird with wings…

'Wait all birds have wings-'part of my mind pointed out. 

'Exactly' the other part sighed dreamily

"Yup! Today's my first day. I just moved from Fiore and decided to enroll in Magnolia since I'll be living alone now. Though, I still need a place to stay.." she said the last part under her breath but I still heard her loud and clear.

"Where are you staying now?" 

"Oh, I just came here this morning so I left my luggage with my Aunt, Grandeeny." My eyes widened at that name.

"Grandeeney? You're related to Wendy Marvell, the pop star?" She nodded her head excitedly. "Woah," I gasped in awe. "But...you can stay with your Aunt," I say getting back to the question at hand.

"I know but I don't want to trouble her."

"I'm sure it's not a problem Luce '' She tilted her head slightly and pondered about it. 

I watched as her nose wrinkled slightly as her eyes focused ahead in concentration. Then she looked up at me with a smile.

"Sure Natsu!" She gave me a close eyed smile that made me stop in my tracks and stare at her in awe.
