Bruce & Diana:The mission

Bruce's POV:

We arrived back at the manor from our quick visit at the watchtower regarding about our new mission that Clark given us earlier. Once we got off the plane, Diana headed straight to my computer and researched any additional information about weird findings in Russia. I did not attempt to bother her own bussiness anyways because I dont want to disturb her from what she was doing, before preparing on our upcoming mission I called Dick to let him handle my unfinished case.

"Dick Greyson speaking." A man spoke on the other side of the commlink.

"Batman here, Im leaving you incharge regarding a case that I will not able to finish due to our new mission with Wonder Woman, I want you to handle it." I replied.

"Mission with Wonder Woman?" He continued. "When and where would this be?" Dick asked curiously.

"Tonight, me and Diana will leave the manor at 8 PM sharp due to our mission. Once we leave I want you at the manor at exactly 8:10 PM, I will inform alfred for your expected arrival." I demanded.

"Acknowledged. Why does it have to be you and Wonder Woman? There are many league members aside from you anyways, no offence." He asked searching for an immediate answer.

"Me and Wonder Woman have been paired by Clark since the beggining of our mission in the league. So theres no big deal." I replied. Annoyed.

"Speaking of paired, you mean you and Diana are partners?" He asked curiously.

"League partners to be exact." I spoke

"As you say so, I will be there as you expected." Then he hung up.

After our conversation I proceeded preparing the things that me and Diana will need for the mission. After sometime the clock red 7:49 PM.

"We better get ready." I whispered.

Once I was done doing my own bussiness I went to the cave to look for Diana but to my surprise she was nowhere to be found.

"Where is she?" Once the words left my mouth I heared a giggle with a mix of a slight laugh just above the kitchen floor. I new right then she was at the kitchen with Alfred having a conversation. I quickly paced the stairs and reached the kitchen. Once I stepped foot on the kitchen floor I can see Diana helping Alfred chopping some vegetables.

"I did not expect he can be that rowdy when he was still young." Followed by a small giggle.

"Believe me miss Diana neither do I." Alfred replied. Agreeing to Diana's words.

Once both of them acknowledged my presence and knowing that I overheared their conversation Alfred spoke.

"Speaking of which, I think its time to leave miss Diana."

"I think it is Alfred. Now, will you excuse us for we have a mission to work on." Diana replied to my loyal butler.

Diana then smiled at Alfred letting him know that she enjoyed their conversation together for quite awhile. She then washed her hands and dry them with a soft cotton towel hanging on my refrigerator handle. She then proceeded to walk with me towards the batcave. We then arrive to the cave very quickly than I have expected. We then prepared the important essentials and take off leaving the manor behind us. After awhile our flight to Russia it was silent. I was silent and so was Diana, I did not expected she could be that silent for I know Diana will always start a conversation whenever both of us are silent. "Well thats odd." I murmured making sure she will not hear me. I turned to look at her and to my surprise she was already asleep sitting on her chair placing her forhead on the plane structure. "No wonder she was silent." Without any hesitation I then set the plane to auto pilot, got up from my chair and waked her up.

"Diana?" I said while awoking her.

"Huh? What?" She spoke while awakening with a confused tone.

"Take some rest in one of the available rooms inside the plane that I have prepared for you earlier, in order for you to gain energy and focus on our mission." I demanded.

"Whay about you, Bruce?" She replied worringly.

"Dont worry about me I can manage." I answered assuringly.

"Well if you need anything I will be one of the rooms you mentioned earlier." She spoke, letting me know that I can have her assistance anytime.

"Copied." I replied.

She then started to unbuckle her seatbelt, gets up and heading towards the perspective room I mentioned to her.
