Night Sky Diary Letter to my Future Love #11

While in a sky full of stars I see you,

I still walk out to look at the night sky

And can't help but notice how lonely I

Am. Honestly I don't even know why

I let myself get down in the first place.

But sitting here under the starry sky,

I think of you. Your laugh, your smile, your grace,

You. Simply you. And my thoughts are clearest

When I say you're like the stars my dearest.

Not because you're beautiful, bright and warm,

But because like the stars, you're there even when

I can't see you. Now as I sit here torn

Between joy and loneliness I again

Find myself longing, reaching for the stars,

Yearning to be with you. With your eyes like

Oceans, that the stars of the night swim in,

That I would gladly drown in the depths thereof.

So I'll decide to walk on your moonbeams

And sit for a while as I drink in your

Smile. The clouds seem to run from the sky. Stars

May be a lifetime away, this I know.

But now, here, it feels like a dream come true.

My heart and soul fill with love over you.

And you've chased away the darkness and gloom.

Bringing light and peace as would the full moon,

My doubts disappear every time you're near.

Like a serenade, every word you say

Has me falling more and more in love with 

You. In a sky full of stars I saw you.
