The boys and I were at the quarry, they were spitting over the edge and I was too exhausted to care about this right now. "Oh my god, that was terrible. I win!" Richie shouts, I finally tuned into the conversation and sighed.
"You won?" Eddie asked him confusion.
"Yeah." Richie states, of course, they're gonna bicker, it's Richie Tozier and Eddie Kaspbrak.
"You see my loogie?" Eddie asked him as he pointed.
"it went the farthest." Richie pointed out, I just screwed my face up in disgust, Stanley and I glanced at each other before rolling our eyes and sighing, "It's about distance." He said in a matter of fact tone.
"It's mass, it's always been mass!" Eddie told him.
"What? What is mass?" Richie asked him with a slight squeak in his voice since he was practically yelling at him.
"It doesn't matter how far it goes," Eddie told him as he sighs. "It's how cool it looks, and it's green or it's white."
"Ew!" Richie said in disgust.
"Alright. Who's first?" Bill asked us, I rubbed my eyes and yawned as they all looked over the edge.
"I'll go!" I heard someone shout, we all turned around and Beverly ran towards us, "Sissies!" Beverly grabbed my hand and I wasn't prepared for it quick enough as we fell through the air and hit the water, I shot up and gasped for air.
"The hell?" I looked around as I put my glasses on my head.
"What the fuck? Ahhh, holy shit, we just got shown off by girls!" I heard Richie shout as one by one the boys finally jumped off the cliff and splashed into the water.

"News flash, Ben, School's out for summa." Richie said in a weird accent as we were all sitting in a circle while Beverly was laying down in the sun
"Oh that, that's not school stuff." Ben replied as he had a small smile on his face, Richie dug through Bens bag and pulled out a postcard.
"Who sent you this?" Richie asked with a laugh.
"No one! No one, give that back." Ben snatched it off him and shoved it back into his backpack.
"What's with the history project?" Eddie asked him as I pulled my jumper over my cold body and laid my head on his shoulder, he didn't seem to mind as he wrapped an arm around me.
"Oh well, when I first moved here, I really didn't have anyone to hang out with so I just started spending time in the library," Ben answered as his book on Derry was being passed around.
"You went to the library?" Richie asked him in confusion.
"On purpose?" I asked Ben and then we all laughed.
"I wanna see." Beverly said as she jumped up and ran over, she sat next to Bill and started looking at Bens history book.
"What's the Black Spot?" Stanley asked.
"The Black Spot was a nightclub
that was burned down years ago by
that racist cult." Eddie answered, I sucked in a shaky breath as I felt my body shiver slightly, Eddie looked at me and started rubbing my arm."The what?" Stanley asked.
"Don't you watch Geraldo?" Eddie questioned.
"Y-y-y-y-your hair..." bill stumbled with his words until Ben cut him off.
"Your hair looks beautiful. Beverly." Ben and Bill glanced at each other before looking at the awkward Beverly.
"Oh, right...thanks." She tucked her hair behind her ear and looked away.
