When He Comforts You

I sighed as I twirled the pasta using my fork and without even knowing, I kept doing it for almost seven minutes and my face is looking at a distance.

I've been like this ever since second period ended and my emotions have been bothering me until now.

"(Y/N)? (Y/N)?"

I was snapped back to reality and I can see that my friends, who are eating with me during lunch, are looking at me with concern and confusion.

"O-Oh sorry", I said then when I saw my fork being twirled, I stopped myself and I massaged my temple.

"Is everything alright, (Y/N)-chan?", Asui asked and tilted her head.

"Yeah, you haven't ate a single bit of your pasta", Midoriya said with a hint of concern, "Is something the matter?".

Meanwhile, Kirishima and Iida was looking at me with concern and when I saw Todoroki's expression, he looked serious but worried at the same time like he wanted to beat someone up.

I didn't say anything at first but I just smiled and shook my head.

"I'm fine, guys", I said and laughed awkwardly, "I'm just thinking about something f-for um...for the next homework".

"Homework? Umm, (Y/N), none of our teachers gave us homework for next week", Kirishima said and raised a brow.

I gulped and massaged my temples once more before drinking some water.

"O-Oh, sorry. Nearly forgotten about it, haha", I said and sighed again.

My friends exchanged looks then back to me while watching me try to eat my pasta properly.

"Are you sure you're feeling alright, my love?", Todoroki finally spoke up after looking at me with concern for quite some time now. 

I nodded almost hesitantly and replied to him, "Y-Yeah, I'm perfectly fine".

Todoroki didn't say anything after that and simply nodded before rubbing my back and continue eating his food.

The day finally ended and my mind was still in the same state as before.

I tried to at least get this feelings to go away so my friends especially my dual-haired boyfriend to not worry.

But I guess it can't seem to leave me at all.

I sat on the couch and decided to listen to music that hopefully this will ease my thoughts and my head.

I got my earphones from my pocket and just when I was about to put them on-

"Hey"

My heart jumped when the voice was very close to my ear that my body jumped too - but slightly.

I turned to see Todoroki but his hair was covered by a fluffy towel.

"O-Oh hey Shoto", I said and laughed nervously, "Took a shower I suppose?".

He nodded simply before wiping his hair with the fluffy towel.

"Yeah, just finished my strength workout", he said and looked at me, "What about you?".

"Hmm?", I hummed after turning on my phone.

He frowned and got closer to me so he can wrap his arm around me.

"(Y/N), you were in a bad mood since this morning and I'm worried", Todoroki said and fixed the locks of hair that his burying my face, "I don't want you to be like this. I want to see you smiling, not frowning for the rest of week or two".

I blinked a few times from his words that I didn't expect but I looked down and tried to think it over if I should talk about it.

But since he looks willing to listen and worried about me for the rest of the day, I decided to tell him anyway.

"I have a question", I said and looked at him with a sad eyes, "You think I'm not worth being your girlfriend, Shoto?".

His eyes widened slightly from hearing my question and touched my cheek.

"What are you talking about? Of course, you're worth it!", Todoroki said and kissed the side of my face, "Hey, where did that question come from, my love?".

I looked down again and I can almost feel my eyes getting watery.

"....I...ran into a group of female students from Class C", I said and leaned my head against his shoulder, "They kept telling me stuff like "You're not good enough for him", "You don't seem like an appropriate partner for Endeavor's son", and they even said, "Todoroki deserves better! His partner should be more beautiful, stronger, smarter and accepted by Endeavor!". Am I really a bad match for you?".

After saying those stuff, I can feel my tears forming on the corners of my eyes and slowly, they started to flow down my cheeks.

Then suddenly, I can feel his arms being wrapped around my waist just so he can give me a big warm and comforting embrace.

"(Y/N), those people are hypocrites. Don't listen to them", Todoroki said and showered kisses from my head, my face until it reaches my lips, "You're the best partner I could ever ask for. In fact, you've always been with me for every step of the way and you have a beautiful heart".

Those comforting words made my heart warm and that made me hug him tighter while sobbing quietly.

"Shh...it's okay", Todoroki said and cupped my face but I tried to hide my face using my hands.

"D-D-Don't look at me", I said and sniffed, "I look ugly".

He didn't hesitate to shake his head with disbelief and removed my hands so he can see my face.

"Hey, don't say that", my dual-haired boyfriend said, "You're beautiful. Period. Don't let those comments get to you especially when it has something to do with my father".

He slammed his lips into mine and massaged my cheek with ease.

I automatically kissed him back gently and we did a few exchanges in between without even caring one of our friends see us like this.

"I love you, (Y/N)", he whispered before kissing the side of my neck softly, "I love you for who you are and what you do because it's you. Please don't ever change".
