I know literally no one reads this because I'm not important here and basically dead here but I'm thinking about trying out for the snareline in marching band next year instead of the marimba line. My 2 friends that are marching next year want me to do snare, my high school band friends want me to do snare, the high school and middle school percussionists want me to do snare, and my dad wants me to do what I want but my brothers and mom don't want me to march or even do band at all next year. What should I do? I really want to do snare and marimba but I can only choose one, if I go to battery I'll never go back because that's just how it goes, but I'm really excited to audition for snare and probably make drum captain too, but I dunno. Please help me 😬
