One

Felix sighed as he felt his ears twich. He had just woken up from his alarm blaring in his ear. He got up and walked to his closet. He grabbed a grey sweater and some dark blue jeans. He grabbed his cap and frowned a bit. He hated having to hide but he had to.

He walked to his restroom and splashed water on his face as he looked in the mirror to see his ears twitch at the coldness. He giggled a bit but then reached to the mirror and opened it, having it be a medicine cabnet. He pulled out his eye color changing contacts and opened the next little contacts. He put them in as the water stayed on and ran and gave the normally quiet house sound.

He blinked a bit to get used to the feeling. He had to put contacts in because when hybrids had any strong emotion their eyes changed. For Felix, it was diffrent. He was diffrent.

His parents were both cat hybrids but of diffrent breeds. So one of his ears is a blonde-ish, brown-ish color while the other is a black color. He hated it. And when he felt an emotion, one eye would turn a pastel kind of yellow and the other one a bright green. He never liked it and no one else did either.

He walked out and grabbed his bag. He ran his hand through his light purple hair and put his cap on. His ears twichted once more as they felt the fabric rub against them. Felix walked to the front door and looked in the living room. His Mom was passed out on the couch again. Hickeys were on her pale skin and her makeup was smudged and ruined. Felix felt a small smile appear as he saw her curl more into the blanket. He opened the door and walked out as he tried to fix his shoe more. He looked up a bit to feel a small cold gust of wind go over his face as he looked at the sky turn grey to a pink. He walked on to the bus and sat down in the back. He watched other people get on. He looked out the window to see a neighbor hood like his own except this one was filled with people walking, some laughing or smiling. His vision blurred out a bit and he saw his reflection. He looked at his face and felt his heart stop a bit. He never liked his face, it looked to much like his dad's.  He felt his eyes become teary as he felt a someone looking at him. He looked over and saw a man, his eyes were a cold blue and his face showed nothing but anger. Felix kept his eye contact until the man got up and moved closer to him. He looked outside and saw his stop. He got up and started to walk the rest of the way.

He looked over to see the man on the bus starring him down. Some hybrids didnt like other breeds or other hybrids. To others, felix looked human until you see his behavoir and how he acts with his emotions.

He walked into the school. He felt an arm wrap around his neck, he yelped and started to thrash around. A familiar chuckle was heard behind him. Felix smiled and turned around and pushed him away. "Not funny hyung." Felix said, smiling softly. "Aw come on. It was kind of funny." Chan said.

Felix rolled his eyes and started to walk with Chan to their friend group. None of them knew what Felix was and they didn't push it. Felix was talking to Chan when he bumped into someone he was about to say sorry but was cut off by a growl. "Watch where you're going." A boy growled his eyes a glowing grey. Chan started to growl and put Felix behind him. Chan's eye's were a bright blue like the mans on the bus. "What are you going to do? Gonna attack someone of your pack?" The boy growled at Chan. Chan huffed a bit. "You're not in my pack. Now back the fuck off." Chan growled. Felix tried to tug him away but couldn't. "Chan you're apart of my pack now stop protecting this little bitc-" the boy was cut off by a much louder growl, almost a howl. Felix covered his ears and started to shake a bit. "Jeremy what the hell?" The alpha growled. Felix felt like prey around them and he didnt like it. "A-Alpha. Im sorry just a little bit- I mean another hybrid was being a bit disrespectful." Jermey said. The alpha came closer and whispered something to him making him nod shakingly and run off. The alpha turned towards Chan and Felix and then walked off. Felix felt his legs give out a bit. Chan looked scared past his being. Their friends came running over.

"Are you guys ok?" Woojin asked. Chan shook his head and chuckled. Felix leaned his head on the wall and inhaled softly. He stopped for a bit as he smelt something very strong. It was the smell that you get when you're outside and it's cold. A smell that was calming to Felix. "Guys." Felix said softly lightly tapping jisung. "I...I can smell something." Felix said shaking his head softly. Jisung looked at him and touched his forehead. "You high or something dude?" Jisung said. Felix giggled but then felt his cheeks heat up as the smell got stronger. "Mate." Felix whispered. Jisungs eyes went wide. "You smell them?!" Jeongin said getting on his tippy toes to try and look around. Felix felt his ears twitch violently making him whimper and hold his cap. "Hey your ears hurting?" Hyunjin asked rubbing the cap knowing better then to go any further. Felix nodded and reached under his cap and rubbed his left ear softly. He sighed and calmed down but the smell got very strong.

"Chan!" A voice yelled as the smell got very strong. And then it was surrounding Felix. Drowning him and swallowing him in the nice soft sent.

"Hey Chan you ok? I heard alpha Jackson was scolding Jeremy because of you." A guy said standing next to Chan. Felix stood up straight and looked at hyunjin and jisung. Jisung looked at him with his eyebrows knitted together. Felix gave big eyes and slightly pointed to the guy standing next to Chan. The sent was radiating off of him. Jisungs eyes went wide but then smirked and whispered to everyone else. Felix glared at him but snapped out of it when he heard his name.

"Felix. You ok?" Chan asked. Felix turned towards him and nodded softly. "What did i say about nodding to me or woojin hyung?" Chan asked. Felix fiddled with his thumbs as he looked at jisung then Chan. "S-Sorry. Yes i am ok Chan hyung." Felix said his face getting a bit hotter as the guy looked at him. "Oh yeah changbin-" Felix felt his heart stop,  his name sounded so peaceful to Felixs ears. "This is my pack. That's Woojin hyung, Hyunjin, Minho, Jisung, seungmin, Jeongin our baby and of course Felix." Chan said pointing off each one. Felix went closer to jisung as changbin kept his stare on him a bit longer. "Oh and What are you their alpha? You guys arent even the same hybrids." Changbin said smirking a bit. Chan glared at him. "Yes i am the alpha of my pack and it doesnt matter what breed we are." Chan said. Changbin looked at Felix again then at Chan. "What are they? Like what kind of hybrids." Changbin asked. "Oh uh Woojin hyungs a bear hybrid, Minho is a lion hybrid, hyunjin is a wolf hybrid like us but is a diffrent breed, jisung is a squirrel hybrid, seungmin a dog hybrid, jeongins a fox hybrid and felix is a....." Chan trailed off.

"C-Cat hybrid, H-Hyung." Felix said fixing his cap. He was alway insucre about his type. "Wow nice pack you got. Hey chan do you know any other packs? Like wolf packs." Changbin asked. Chan sighed. "Jackson kicked you out of the pack didn't he?" Chan said looking at changbin with a knowing look. "Yeah." Changbjn sighed. "What happened this time?" Chan asked. Changbin sighed. "I dont know. The Lions pack, and no offenses-" changbin said looking at Minho then back at Chan. "Were being assholes, talking about some omega and i dont know i guess i snapped." Changbin said shrugging.

Their conversation went on for a while. But Felix could only focus on the warmth that surround him and the smell that was suffocating him.
