Misunderstanding

As someone who is judged solely on others' versions of events, and someone who is never asked for hers, I understand what it is like, to be misunderstood. I always make it a point to explain the event before accounting my version and people get pissed at me for taking so long. I try not to decide its value before I study both sides of the coin. It is sometimes frustrating, but I've given up. After all, it really is not worth the struggle. You know your version. You know you don't deserve what has been given to you. You know you deserve understanding, but the world doesn't know that. And there is only so long you can fight for, before you break and realise all your efforts are going in vain.
