I noticed that change.
I noticed it when everyone didn't seem to.
To them, it was just the same thing. She was smiling, laughing at simple things. Her chuckles and her sunshine seemed to light up the room just as always.
But there was something wrong and I should've seen it coming.
It might've been a joke to all, but to her it was a plea.
A plea I didn't see.
"Save me."
