You were my everything.
You where the sun that gave me warmth.
That gave me hope and meaning.
But if I got to close I was burned.
If I stared to long I was blinded.
Blinded by the lies.
Blinded by selfishness.
I know you love me.
You would tell me every morning,
Every night,
Every second.
And i loved you.
I loved the feeling of you,
The sound of you,
The look of you,
Even when you closed my eyes and force fed me lies,
I still loved
You.
Even when I forgave you for every lie that you told me,
Gave you my body,
My life,
My soul.
My sun,
you blinded me.
Blinded me from seeing the truth,
The truth in the lies,
The truth in your words,
The truth in you.
I pulled back the mask that you hid behind,
Discovering you are nothing but a black hole,
Sucking away my happiness even after my world stops revolving around you,
But no more will I be dragged down into your darkness,
No more will I allow myself to be consumed by you,
No more.
I am my own love,
My own hope,
My own happiness,
My own light.
