Virgils Guardian Angel

Virgils POV
   So me and Roman have been dating for 3 months and he is annoying but I swear he's an angel from heaven. He always knows when I'm sad and knows how to cheer me up. He even knows when I have my panic and anxiety attacks and helps me with them.

   But what's confusing to me is how he's gone most of some days but says he's been out on an adventure or he was in his room which I don't believe because he's always with me. I shake off the thought and just then Roman walks in. "Hey smol bean (I regret NOTHING) watcha doin?" He asked me in his romantic voice. God I love him he's always so caring but I hate it when he called me smol bean (again I regret NOTHINGG). "Nothing asshole, what do you want?" I said in annoyance even though I wanted him to hold me.

   "Oh come on babe I just wanted to talk to you and cuddle you." He said I also wanted that but I just rolled my eyes. "Tell me where you were until now?" I said sternly. He looked at me and I could tell he was sweating. "ARE YOU CHEATING ON ME!" I screamed. I couldn't help myself I just had to.

   Patton and Logan walked in when they heard me scream at Roman. Me and Roman got into a fight and I stormed out of our house. Logan followed me. I saw him following me so I took off into the road. The next thing I heard was Logan screaming "VIRGIL LOOK OUT THERE'S A C-!" And everything went black.

Romans POV:
   Patton was helping me out then all I heard was Logan yell "VIRGIL LOOK OUT THERE'S A C-!" He got cut off by a crashing noise me and Patton looked at eachother and took off out of the house. That's when I saw the most horrifying sight I never wanted to see. EVER.

   It was my boyfriend I laying in the road. The driver was calling 911. Logan was crying and I ran and started doing CPR on Virgil. I couldn't lose him. If I did I would be down graded to Angel and I couldn't have that happen. I liked it on Earth, even though I would see Virgil again I didn't want him knowing.

   The ambulance came in 3 minutes and picked up Virgil and me. Logan was driving and Patton stayed and talked to the police. When we got to the hospital Logan comforted me and told me that Virgil would be ok.

25 minutes later

   The doctor came out and said that we could go in and that Virgil was fine. THANK GOD HE'S FINE. When I went in there Virgil was awake and seemed surprised that I was there.

   "R-Roman?" He said with surprise. Wait did he think I wasn't gonna show up? "Hey Virge how ya feeling?"

Virgils POV
   He always called me babe. "Hey guys I'm fine just hurts heh." I said to answer Romans question. Then I just looked at Roman probably with anger because he looked shocked. "Roman I have to know" I said sternly, "are you cheating on me."

   "No Virgil why would you think that babe! Your the only one I want! The other boys who like me aren't even there, YOU are!" Roman said while he held my hand. "Virgil I love you with all my heart and you really think I would cheat on the person I love?"

   I was happy and shocked. I was the only one he wanted. YEEEEEEESSSS! Sorry over joyed. But hearing him say that made me start crying. Even if he isn't an angel, he's my angel.

   I had to stay in the hospital for a month. But Roman was always there. He was the one to make sure I ate. He was the one who made sure I drank enough water. And he was the one to make sure I slept. He made me mad because he wouldn't go to sleep until he made sure I was asleep.

One month later

   Logan came and got me out of the hospital. While we were in the car he told me "Hey when we get into the house go straight to your room ok?" "Ok? But why?" I asked. "Just do as I said." Logan said sternly.

   When we got there I did as Logan said. But then that's when I heard the most terrible noise. The front door just got kicked down. I ran out of my room to see my dad standing there.

   "WHERE IS VIRGIL!?" He screamed. It made me shiver because I remembered all he did to me.

   "YOU AREN'T GONNA GET HIM YOU BASTARD!" Patton yelled.

   My dad raised his hand. "NO!" I screamed. I stood infront of Patton and took the slap. "There you are Virgil LET'S GO!" He yelled.

   "NO AND YOU CAN'T MAKE ME! WE HAVE A RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST YOU!" I said defensively.

   They were all shocked at how hard he smacked me. But I've been hit harder.

   " Virgil you are coming home NOW!" His yell pierced my ears.

   "NO HE ISN'T! JUST GO THE COPS ARE COMING!" Roman yelled. When I looked back I saw ANGEL WINGS??? Wait is he a Guardian Angel? I could just be imagining things.

   "Wow you think that the cops scare me? Oh you poor boy?" My father said with a laugh. That's when I broke. My ears and tail came out along with my claws. I couldn't help it.

   "Go away father. NOW!" I yelled in his face. I could feel hot tears run down my face. He tried to hit me. I scratched him before he got the chance. The cops came in and took him away.

   When I realized that I was in my cat form I froze. Logan's face was filled with shock, Patrons was filled with confusion, and Romans face was filled with hurt.

   I ran to my room as fast as I could and slammed the door behind me. All I could hear were their voices calling me things like:
Freak
Monster
Weirdo
   I can't let that happen again. So I ran to the bathroom. Opened up the cabinet and grabbed my "Happy Pills". I opened up the pill bottle and dumped all of them into my hand. Was I about to do this. What about Patton and Logan. What about Roman.

   I decided to take the pills. But when I put them up to my mouth Roman kicked the door down. When he saw what I was about to do he grabbed my hand and dumped the pills out of my hand into his own and took them. ALL.

   He fell to the floor. I knelt down beside him. He smiled at me. "Thank you for ... giving me the experience to feel l-love V. B-but my time has c-come Babe. I-i love y-you." As he said that he put one of his wings around me. I started crying. "I love y-you t-too but you ca-cant go Ro-Roman!"

Few days later

   It was raining. All I saw was black. Black clothes around a lifeless body. I watched as they lowered the casket into the ground. Then I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder. "Lets go home." He said in a cheerful voice.

   I was happy. I held Romans hand as we walked into the bright light. I was happy to have my Angel back. Even if that means Patton or Logan won't see me again. I'm just happy that I can watch them.
