Breaking a promise is easy to do. Sometimes its broken on purpose, other times its purely by accident. I dont know what caused my promise to shatter into a million pieces, glass on the floor. I dont really know if I ever wanted it to, or if it was an accident. But the moment my promise exploded, the moment it disapeared, my life forever changed.
"Damn, can you hurry up Fetcher?" Spencer shouts from behind me, leaning againt the doorway of the locker room.
"You can't rush beauty!" I reply with a smile, spraying the ax across my chest. "Besides, working my ass off leaves a stink. You wouldn't know anything about that."
"Watch yourself. Just because you are my bestfriend doesn't mean I wont kick your ass." I laugh out loud, slamming my locker shut. I stuff my iphone in the pocket of my dark jeans and make my way towards Spencer.
"You clean up nice, baby." He says, making kissing noises and examining my black tee and dark jeans.
I shove his arm, pushing him out of the locker room,"shut up."
All the other teamates have made it out of the locker room about twenty minutes ago after the football game. Spencer and I had stayed back to get ready for the awesome party tonight.
"What's up with you and Macy?" Spencer asks, unlocking the door of his Mercedes.
Macy has been my girlfriend for a solid month. Don't get me wrong, she's super sexy. Her strawberry blonde hair flows past her shoulders and her perky boobs are of course the first thing I noticed. She's got a killer body full of curves. She's a pettite thing but definitely fun to play with. However, I don't plan on making this thing serious. After all, I'm a laddies man. You can't take me off the market.
"We're alright, but I plan on having some fun tonight. It's not like I'm tied down to her." I open the door of my black BMW that is parked right next to Spencer's.
"I could never see Reese Fetcher being tied down to anyone," he replies, rolling his eyes. I chuckle slightly before climbing into my car.
"See you at Taylor's," I call out of the open window. He offers a wave before I speed out of the parking lot.
I come to a stop light immediately after exiting the school lot. I take a moment and look in the review mirror, ruffling my blonde hair slightly so it falls over my forehead. My blue eyes shine brightly as I stare back at my reflection, throughouly pleased.
"Your one sexy bitch, Reese Fetcher." I say to myself, smirking broadly. I press on the gass peddle just as the light turns green. The road curves sharply before straightening out in front of me. I drum my fingers lightly on the steering wheel in time with the music blasting from my speakers.
Taylor's house is only ten minutes away and considering the party doesn't start for another thirty minutes, I suspect Spencer and I will be the first to arrive. Taylor throws the biggest bashes Eastland High has ever seen. Nothing can beat his hyped up parties full of booze, music, and sexy babes. I plan on scoring tonight, regaurdless of Macy's overbearing presence.
"About time you showed up, Fectcher." Taylor calls as I park on the curb in front of his house.
"Shut the hell up, Wise. A party ain't a party without me anyway." I exit my BMW and press the lock button, not moving until the familiar beep rings through my ears. I make my way to the front door and high five Taylor before he walks me inside.
"You drive like a bitch, Reese." Spencer says as we enter the kitchen.
"Shut the hell up, douche." I reply. He smiles and hands me a red plastic cup and I welcome the familiar taste of budlight. "So, when are the chicks arriving?" I turn to Taylor.
