Hello competitors, prospective competitors, and viewers/readers!
The PWA 2019 Submission Period is over. We have two pending inspections for last minute entries, but other than that, it appears to be officially over.
In case you didn't receive our announcement yesterday, the Romance category was merged into Miscellaneous or Adventure (based on your 2nd category of choice on the submission form). Miscellaneous, surprisingly, was our biggest category this year, going toe-to-toe with Adventure.
All in all, congratulations to everyone that managed to complete their entries in time and pass inspection! If you have any questions regarding the judging process or your entry's status in general, please comment below or pm the PWA account.
With that said, I want to introduce our next order of business. Since I will not be judging this year (hopefully no judge drops), I'll get working on integrating our next administrator(s) for PWA 2020. I was very disappointed by the lack of feedback and nominations I received regarding the administrator selection process, so I decided that maybe we need to try and encourage a different type of feedback.
I'll be scheduling a focus group (or multiple). This will NOT be held in the PWA Discord because I'm aware that some individuals are not members of this Discord for one reason or another. I will not be forcing people to enter a Discord they don't want to be a part of. Instead, I'll be creating a separate Discord group to conduct these focus groups.
You do not have to speak during this call. You can either just absorb information and feedback that people are providing, or you can type feedback in the chat. If you want to be anonymous, briefly change your Discord username to not resemble your Wattpad username if you don't want to be recognized.
I have attached a Doodle Poll to this line. Please fill out the times you are available. For the 'Name' section, please put your Discord ID and Name, so I can create the Discord group.
I encourage everyone to participate. If you're an administrator applicant, you can participate. If you're a member of the PWA Staff, you can participate. If you have 2.5k followers, you can participate. If you have 0 followers, you can participate. I will be jotting down EVERYONE'S feedback, no matter who you are.
