[LUMINE] Like Like Kody x reader

I headed in the direction of the rooftop, my bangs sat over my eyes as the hallways began to become crowded. I hurried through having some occasional pushes and shoves. God its like I'm not gonna make it out of here alive! After a few more shoves I finally got to the start of the staircase. I sighed in thankfulness being out of the body of people.

-5 minute timeskip bc i got lazy-

I opened the door leading to the roof, I felt a cold breeze envelop my body. A small shiver went down my spine. I looked around searching for Kody and Lumine. Distant sounding chatting could be heard. "Y/n! Over here!" I heard a soft voice call out my name. I saw Lumine waving happily while Kody too waved with sly smile on. I smiled a bit sprinting over to them.

I plopped down sighing in satisfaction, the wind blew once agaim but it didn't bother me. I just smiled more closing my eyes, loving the vibe of the moment. "Whats up with you? You seem more happy than usual." I shifted to where I was facing Kody. I grabbed his hands cupping them, I stared and asked.

"We're never gonna stop being friends, right?" My grip tightened in the slightest bit.

"What? No, we're always gonna be friends...f-forever.." I perked up and just hugged him. I took in his smell. Still cinnamon..

I then heard a camera clicking. I turned my head to see Lumine putting his phone down like he didn't just snap a picture. I could feel shades of red begin to form on my cheeks.

"LUMINE!!!!!!"

Normal P.O.V
Y/n could tell everyone including herself were starting to get ansy staring at the tacking clock that resided on the wall. Tapping shoes, swinging pencils, small whistling echoed. C'mon...just a bit longer.. Looking back down at her paper Y/n jotted down a few more notes from the board before the oh-so heavenly sound echoed throughout the room making students perk up in excitement.

RINGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!

Y/n packed up her pencils, notebook, and binder before darting toward the door behind just about 6 other students. The teacher sighed in exhaustion as she felt just as relieved as her students. The h/c haired girl pulled out her phone texting Kody to see where he was.

Hey Kody where are you?

Walking past the staircase trying to make it out of this hellhole

Yeah same here, anyway meet me at the double doors?

Sounds good

Y/n looked through one of the windows in the hallway and saw Kody and Lumine waiting for her. Y/n made my way through the halls. Y/n busted through the double doors a smile on her face. Kody and Lumine looked in herdirection, a bit of a confused look on their faces. "You guys ready to go?" She said throwing her bag over her shoulder.

Y/n flipped her h/c hair from being caught under the fabric. Kody nodded a sly smile still rested on his face as Lumine smiled a toothy grin. They went down the brick steps, their steps being in perfect sync with one another.

As the three walked down the sidewalk, Y/n suggested stopping for ice cream since the sun finally decided to show itself. Lumine and Kody agreed. Although Lumine nor Y/n knew where a good ice cream shop was to begin with. Kody led the way.

It was a cute, pastel themed shop with a cat as the mascot. It was called 'Cat's Creme'. Y/n cooed going on about how adorable it was and how he knew about a place like this.

"What do you mean by that?"

"W-Well I mean-..! I just didn't think you'd come somewhere so..um..." Y/n fiddled with her fingers.

"Cute?" Kody tilted his head.

"Y-Yeah!"

"Understandable, but I didn't just find this place by myself, my dad took me here when I was little." Kody said as they walked in, the second Y/n stepped foot in the cute shop you were immediately hit with a wave of an ice cream aroma. You 'Mmm~!'d all at once making one of the workers behind the counter giggle.

"Wah~ it smells amazing in here!" Y/n clapped her hands together in awe admiring the inside look and decoration. Lumine did the same, "Sheesh you guys act like you've never been in an ice cream shop before." Kody mumbled watching the two nine year olds in front of him. Somehow deep down he enjoyed seeing them like this.

Soon enough he joined them. "Kody c'mon and get some ice cream!" Y/n grabbed Kody's hand making his emerald green eyes widen in suprise. She brung him over to the varities, vanilla, chocolate, cookies n creme, you name it.

Y/n went to get two cones for the two of them as Lumine was already going ham with his ice cream toppings. "Here ya go!" She smiled.

"T-Thanks.." Dammit, what is this girl doing to me.. Kody thought blushing.

As Y/n began walking towards the cookies n creme dispencer, Kody went the same direction. They both reached for the same handle, they looked over at each other blushing.

"Y-You can go first- ah- no you-" They spoke in perfect sync, as they realized they were doing this they laughed.

Y/n ended up going first, she just added more cookies to her cone. Kody just had his plain. Lumine sat at one of the tables by the window enjoying his cold beverage. "Lumine c'mon--wait, wait, wait! Let's take a picture!" Kody was cut off by Y/n sprinting over to the table with cat ears. Y/n whipped out her f/c phone telling the two boys to get in frame. Kody sat in the middle with a small smile, Lumine had a huge bright smile on, and Y/n had a toothy grin on.

"Say cheese!"

"Cheese!"

Snap!

They payed for their ice cream and started heading home again. A certain h/c haired girl was getting near to finishing her ice cream, as she took a bit of a bite out her ice cream she got a little blob of it on the left side of her lip. Kody took a glance at her noticing this.

"Hey, you've got ice cream on the side of your lip." He used his thumb to wipe it, licking whatever was left on his thumb.

Y/n felt the blood coming to her fae as she thanked him. "T-Thanks Kody.."

"Wow Kody so bold-!"

"What the fu- just shut up." Kody looked to the ground a blush coating his tan cheeks.

Heyoo, author here, I finally updated since...idek I just felt more motivated than usual. I never really get a lot of support because all my writing sucks but I'm glad I got some support last chapter. Anyway I hope you guys like this chapter (its kinda short). Sorry for any grammar or spelling mistakes, please correct me in the comments if needed.
