Freak

I watched everyone with cautions eyes. My other housemates tried to sit as far away from me as possible. I raised a shield to protect me from the prank spell. I slowly got up leaving my small plate of food, I tossed my bag over my shoulder and I started to walk out of the great hall tilting my head to the side slightly the spell just missing me. I let a small smirk grace my lips, at the moans of disappointment. I glanced up and i saw the dark lord was watching, and with a wandless and silent casting I sent a prank spell back hearing their screams of distraught right as I walked out of sight.

I sat on the window seal reading from my book, an apple in hand. I glanced up looking at the angry hord of students, i started to walk and I place my book in my bag and I did the same for my apple.

I heard them picking up the pace, and I let out a feral smirk and I shrunk my bag down and i stuffed it into my pocket and I started to run them chasing me tossing spells at me. I jumped and skipped staircases. Them shouted for people to grab me, everyone started to help chase me. I dropped down again this time landing in front of snape.

'' again Ms.Firegold?'' he asked.

'' all in good fun professor. If you excuse me though.'' I raised a shield so he wouldn't get hit. And I slid down the banister and with a jump I rolled and I popped up my heels clicking as I walked, I took out my bag enlarged it. I took out my apple and I started to eat it while taking out the book I was ready and I flipped the page and I rose an eyebrow when they appeared in front of me and just the dark lord and a few other professors turned the corner. I bowed to the dark lord and I kept going on my merry way.

I let out a slight grunt when I was pushed against the wall, wands pointed at me.

'' filth like you shouldn't even be here.'' one of the boys snarled.

'' then you should toss yourself out with the trash.'' I said smirking.

They slammed me against the wall and I let out a slight chuckle.

'' you think this makes you tough?'' my voice rasped.

They looked at me weirdly.

'' it doesn't, it proves that you are weak and that you need to pick on someone like me.'' I could tell they were getting angry.

'' shut up you freak of nature.'' they shouted and they casted a cruso.

I didn't even react but as they raised the pain level I dropped to a knee.

'' this is where you belong, below us.'' they sneered.

I let out a dark chuckle, and my magic swelled up and explode tossing them back breaking the curse. I shook as stood up, I panted looking at them.

'' you don't get to say where I belong because that's up to me and not scum like you.'' I sneered.

'' what is going on here.'' I heard the dark lord bellowed. I glanced up and i saw snape and his eyes widen when one of the kids tossed a cruso curse at me again. I grunted and I sent a wandless spell there wand flying into my hand.

I panted and my eyes glowed with power.

'' Ms. Firegold it's okay now.'' I heard snape drawl. And he slowly walked over to me and gently took the wands out of my hands.

'' how long did they keep you under that curse?'' he asked me softly.

'' a few minutes I didn't react at first so they kept raising the pain until I drop to a knee.'' I muttered watching everyone.

He turned to the group of students furry in his eyes.

'' she just a freak of nature, she shouldn't even be alive.'' one of them shouted and I flinched along with a few other teachers.

I looked over towards the dark lord as it seems his magic started to lash out as he glared at the group of students. They quickly went pail and he didn't turn when he spook in a soft voice.

'' Snape please take her to the infirmary to be checked out fully.'' he stressed out the last wold making me freeze. Only to be snapped out of it when Snape started to help me walk down the hallways.
