A well of black bubbled forth from her golden eyes. It swelled and leaked down her face like tears of hate.
"Let... Me... Be... Free..."
Rain patted the ground in gentle drops. Trees shook under waves of wind. Buildings held firm in place as people hurried from place to place. Among them, one figure gazed at the dark gray sky.
"Miss? Are you wondering if it's gonna stop raining?"
A young child was looking at her, waiting for an answer.
"No, I'm just admiring the clouds, that's all,"
she replied, patting his head gently. The boy ran back to his mother as she turned away from him.
"Though something is wrong," she muttered."But..... What?"
