X's P.O.V:

I don't think I can stand it any longer.

I need Four now.

As much as I sympathize with Five losing her childhood crush, I need to rescue mine.

I study my feet, my breath turning into mist in the cool air. The sun is completely gone, and I can hardly see. Five stopped dragging me around a while ago after realizing we're completely lost.

"Five?" I ask her hesitantly. Her expression is blank. "Uhhh.... Five..?" I repeat myself. She whips her head around and smiles. "No, I'm good." She chirrups. "I never even-" I begin, but shut my mouth quickly.

"...okay, Five."

Five's gaze hovers over each house.

"Peacock... green... red..." she murmurs.

"Sorry, could you repeat that Five?" I ask curiously.

She ignores me. "Blue... pink... turquoise..." her eyes widen. She turns to me, gripping my shoulders and frantically shaking me. "X, X, the houses!! The... the... they're..." She shrieks.

"They're the same colours as us."

I stare at the houses, confused and scared.
"The first house," Five continues. "It's peacock. Like One." She spits out the last sentence bitterly. I nod my head. "The second one. Green, like Two." I chime in. She grins.

"Then the red one belongs to 'steal ya man but literally steal him'..." She thinks aloud and I sigh.

Five ponders everything else for a moment. I look at the houses curiously. One, peacock. Two, green. Three, red. Four.... blue.

blue.

The blue house.

I snatch Five's wrist, causing her to give me a startled grunt. "Uh-huh, buddy?" She furrows her eyebrows at me.

I search for the right words, trying to think of the best thing to tell her. My jaw hangs open as I quickly think. Blue. Blue bedsheets, hidden chest, lock. Treasure chest, whole lock, lost key.

What's inside?

Treasure.

I take a breath, and only manage to muster the words;

"Treasure's house."

Five looks at me, puzzled.

Suddenly, we hear an ear-splitting screech.

Where does it come from?

The blue house.

Five nods at me, and we sprint towards the house.

Four's P.O.V:

My blood is sticky, the copper stench enveloping me. It pools around me. There's too much, too much... someone help me. Someone.

Someone.

Someone.

Please.

Footsteps.

Step.

Step.

Step.

Is Three back to finish me off yet?
There's pain everywhere. I don't care about surviving anymore. End me. Put me out of my god damn misery.

Wait.

yellow?

Sunshine.

I know I saw it.

Pink.

Heart.

The code names.

They're here.

I let out a small whimper, hoping they'll hear me. "X..." I croak. I hear a floorboard creak, then hasty footsteps dashing towards me.

I expect to see X.

And I do.
