"Hello, my name is America." Those words were the first I said when I introduced myself. Many countries turned and looked at me, and smiled. Most were unknown, but I knew a few. There was Canada, California, and Phillipines. Canada motioned next to him, but the teacher stopped him. "America, sit next to Japan please." I rolled my eyes and shuffled quietly to who I thought was Japan. "Heya, i'm Japan," She whispered quietly so that Teacher man wouldn't hear us. "Hello. I'd love to be friends, Japan." Just then, the Teacher shushed us and picked up his chalk stick. "Lets get started, shall we?"

After class, Japan and I had P.E. "Wait for me outside,Ameri-Chan!" As she walked into the girls' room, I went to the boys'. As soon as I came in, I saw Canada waving and smiling. I ran to him and slapped his back. I quietly opened the locker and took out a pair of sweatshirts. "Ow! Hey, how was first period? Bad? Horrible? OK?" He patiently waited for me to reply. "OK, I guess.." I slammed the locker door behind me. "I told Japan i'd wait for her outside, see you there!" And with that, I walked out the boys' room.
I didn't know how long I'd been waiting. Probably for five minutes? I couldn't tell. Finally! I saw her rush out of the room. "Come on, Japan! We'll be late!" She turned to me and sighed. "Oh, right. Lets hurry!" We ran together and finally reached the gym door. Japan was panting, so I knes we had to take a break. I pulled her over to the wall and we sat down. "Tell me Japan, why were you late?" She looked at me with her stare, and I blinked back. Did I say something wrong? She quickly held off and smiled. "Oh, I had a little fight with Mexico, thats all." She pulled down part of her sock and I gasped. She had a long, bloody cut. It looked as if it were made by a knife, but I didn't want to think that, so Instead I said, "Ouch, want me to take you to the nurse?" She shook her said side to side, and sighed. "It's fine, Ameri-chan. Don't worry about it, it'll dry off." Her voice sounded very.. Cheery, but I didn't belive it. There was still a hint of pain in her voice, so I decided to do something about it. "Here, let me just patch it up for you." She tried to protest, but I cut her short. "I have spare bandages, it's OK." She rolled her eyes and finally gave in. I took out my bandaid box and strapped a few on her leg. "There," I said. "Happy?" She smiled and must've realized something, because she was staring at the gym door. "Come on! We'll be late if we don't get to P.E. in time!" I nodded, and we rushed in, hand in hand.Hello!
