Descendants 2 - Still Mal's twin brother.

Cotillion pt:1

Henry's pov

I was walking towards the boat when I saw Mal and Evie walking behind me, but i need to ask Mal something and i know i wont have time when we finally enter. So me being me just left the other boys without telling them walking over to the girls.

"well dont you two look lovely" i told them smiling before turning to Mal " hey can i talk to you for a second please" she looked at Evie who just nodded telling us she would see us up there.

"so whats up?" she asked me i looked around before answering her.

"is it okay if i tell Evie who our dad is, i mean if you dont want her to know then that's fine you know i wont tell her, i just dont want any secrets between us." i rambled out as she looked at me with a smile.

"you really care about her dont you" i nodded "and your sure you want her to know" i nodded with hope in my eyes " you now what its not like we are ever gonna meet him so be my guest but do it before i get in there so that she will ask you all the questions, because damn do i love her but sometimes she can speak for hours and i just- huh maybe that's why your perfect for each other" she said as we laughed.

"so your sure its okay i wont tell the boys because those two can not keep a secret" she just nodded with a smile.

We walked away and onto the boat but she had to make an entrance so she went a different way so she could wait whilst i went to find Evie.

I finally found her talking to Doug. "hey guys" i said walking closer to them.

"Doug do you mind if i take Evie away for five seconds you can resume this after i promise" he looked at me smiling.

"sure i dont mind" "thanks pal" 

'He really is a nice guy.' i thought to myself 

"So is everything okay?" she asked me.

"yeah i just wanted to tell you something before this thing gets started. Umm so you know how i am with my temper and everything and Mal always said that she didn't know where it comes from, well the thing is we sorta do, turns out mine and Mal's dad is Hades..." i didn't want to say anything but by the look on her face she looked.... shocked or something her eyes where wide but it wasn't something i was used too.

After a long pause she decided to break the silence.

"well then at least i know where that temper came from also why you are always so warm when your around even when it is freezing outside." she told me with an amused smile on her face.

"well i'm glad that you are OK with it" i told her looking down at my shoes.

She smiled looking at me before hugging me. Like i said this was very confusing from me.

"listen to me you big dope i don't care who your parents are, i mean you may be a little crazy at times and Mal can be well herself but you both are nothing like your parents okay. plus its not like you've ever met the guy and now you never will hopefully."

"i think i might just love you" I said without thinking and quickly tried to cover it up "uh i mean i like you very muck and i can't believe i just said that out lo-mmmmph" she cut me off putting her hands over my mouth. 

"oh my gosh can you shut up because i have been ready to say that for a while but you know me i like to be  classic and wait for the man to say it first" i was about to say something but was cut off by the sound of trumpets so we made our way to the front of the crowd just in time to see Mal coming through the door.

She was walking down the steps towards us but was stopped by the former king and queen.

I gave Evie a slight nod towards the her so that she could go and get her and brought her back to where i was stood.

"Well look what we have here its Mal looking like she wants to be here for a change huh" she gave me a playful glare.

"so did you tell her?" i already knew she was talking about our dad conversation.

"yeah and she didn't ask questions and we even said our 'i love yous'" i told her.

she looked confused " what was that last part?" "huh what she dint ask questions" i said acting dumb.

"no after that you both said i love you" she said turning to Evie who was blushing "oh but please dont tell the boys"

"please i know what those two are lie you tell them when you are ready" she told us

The trumpets went off again making us all turn around "king Benjamin" lumier said as Ben walked out of the the doors and straight down the steps.

Evie slightly pushed Mal as encouragement to go to him.

she smiled and walked meeting him half way stopping and smiling at him before they both bowed to each other, except Ben didn't have the same look on his face and i had a really bad feeling.

"Mal i wish i had time to explain" 

Explain what Ben

A few seconds later the doors opened again just in time to revel Uma.

"I knew i saw her through the window" i told the boys who had appeared at my side a few moments before.

And here i thought this night would be good and have nothing go wrong, 'at least it cant get any worse'
