Serendipity

Evelyn Adams is a girl who travels to Spain for the purpose of studying literature at the Complutense University of Madrid. Evelyn was already inside the plane when she heard a conversation from a boy and his mother. They were traveling to Spain because the boy's mother had a serious illness that was difficult to treat in her country. Evelyn was going to get up for go to the bathroom and she realized that the woman was trying to get up of her seat and Evelyn asked her where she going and helped her. When Evelyn arrived to Spain she was so happy and fully of life. The next morning she wake up and was happy, she was in Spain... her first morning in Spain. The next day Evelyn had to go to college to complete some paperwork. The university was looking for some part-time so the students could cover their personal expenses, so that day they would tell her where they had gotten a job for her. The next week she started working in a hospital. She was responsible for cleaning the patients' rooms. It was her first day at work and she was nervous. Arriving at the hospital, she saw the guy again with his mother in one of the rooms and worried a lot. She came in and let them know that she had to change the sheets and take out the trash from the room. The woman recognized her and greeted her. Evelyn had already been working for a week and every day she saw the guy and his mother. Little by little he approached them and was part of the recovery of the guy's mother. Evelyn fell in love with Ryan and he too, but he said he didn't have time for her because he had to take care of his mother. His mother, India, was very supportive with his relationship and told Ryan don't miss the opportunity to be with a woman like Evelyn. It had been a couple months, Evelyn was studying and working, Ryan was working and India was still recovering in the hospital. Ryan and Evelyn told India they were getting married, and India was very happy for them. They went to live together and India was quite recovered, the doctor discharged India from the hospital and went to live together with them. Five months later Evelyn noticed that she was pregnant and was very excited about the news. She told India and together they planned to tell Ryan on his birthday that it was in two weeks. A week later, India had a stroke. Two days later India died and Ryan was broken. Ryan was driving and had an accident because he was speeding, he didn't know what he was doing. Unfortunately Ryan died instantly. Emily was devastated, she could never tell him she was expecting a baby from him. Evelyn finished her career and returned to her native country with her family and her daughter Indie.
