Introduction
(Time Travel) Frank lives in the 1920s. Abby lives in his house over a hundred years in the future. Then something magical happens to the mirrors in the house. Instead of seeing their reflection, they see and hear each other. Leery as to what has begun they question each other. Yet when they fall asleep the connection stops. When it begins again, they understand it deals with looking in the mirror simultaneously. They also discover how time moves differently for them. Days can be weeks.
The puzzle of the mirror has them searching for answers while he learns about new technology. As the clues fall into place, they discover the possibility of crossing the time barrier. The choice of such a sacrifice of exchanging their time for the other is one she is willing to take just to be with him.
To the Reader
Welcome. This book began in my head back in 2009. Yes, that long ago. The only reason I waited was because the technology to make this realistic took time to investigate. I've had to consider all the angles of how a mirror would work and how experiencing such a thing would effect them.
As a time-travel topic, I don't believe you will see one like this. I haven't. Add a man and a woman a century apart, place a magic mirror between them and let's see what happens. Like the movie, The Avengers: End Game, History cannot change. They had to go back and get stones and then return them later. They tried to change the present time and leave the future as unknown, or is it? What if there is a future beyond the one we foresee?
*At the present time, I am editing this novel and will resume writing once I smooth out the problem spots. It won't change that much. I'll post when I add a new chapter each week.
These are some actual facts I came across.
Tesla discovered that radiant energy displaces time between two arks. Two atomic clocks running at sea level and one on a mountain run at different speeds. The one at high elevation runs faster.
Time slips happen when a person slips into another era in history. Lights dim, sounds change, and they briefly see the past, then their focus returns to the present time. Electromagnet fields can cause this. Low frequency sound waves known as infrasound's. Loud frequencies, such as bombs, are also known to cause a dream-like state.
Technology has been working on time travel since before WWII. They touched on success in 1943.
