The back of the truck lifted slowly and there stood the woman from before joined by another man and a group of about 50 kids in our schools staff car park.

"What can they do?" the man asked,

"we don't know yet but we followed them and we saw some strange stuff," the woman replied.

"NIKI, MEL!!!" someone in the crowd yelled, we saw the crowd splitting and there was our friend Laurel.

"OH MY GOD," I yelled as we both jumped down from the truck and hugged, more like attacked, Laurel.

"You're alive," she said crying with happiness and clutched us back.

"is no one else alive?" Niki said breaking away from the hug.

"They haven't found anyone else yet," She said, there was still hope in her voice but I could tell she was losing hope.

Laurel wiped away a tear and said, "lets go back to our room, oh and this is Zoe, Jade and Brooke. My, well now our roommates." she pointed to three other girls. Laurel has blonde hair and blue eyes. Zoe has straight blonde hair and blue eyes and looked about as old as us, Jade and Brooke looked more like Willow's age. Jade has layered blonde, Slightly darker than Zoe's, hair and big blue-grey eyes. Brooke has wavy brown hair and adorable brown eyes.

"A, B and C Buildings are now dorms, D is storage rooms, E is the hospital, F, the old woodwork and metal work block, is the weaponry, and G, the old canteen and home ec block, is the kitchens. Most of the desks were put into the wall and The Cage," laurel explained as we walked up the stairs to C block and into one of the rooms. She put down the bag she was carrying and took out some tinned food and handed it to us. She then took out a box of matches and lit a couple of candles around the room. As soon as she lit the candles we could clearly see the messy bedding scattered around the room.

"You guys must be hungry," she said, I just realized we hadn't eaten since yesterday night and the sun was setting already. We gulped down every last bit of the three cans of beans.

"So where have you been for the past two-ish weeks?" laurel asked, I just shook my head because I still had a mouthful of beans in my mouth.

"No. You need to tell me whats going on here," I said after i finished eating.

"Fine," she said, "don't freak out. We don't know yet but it could kill all of us."
