By choosing our path, we choose our Destination     -Monson

Let me find my way back to the inner path that i was destined to follow

                                                                                                       -Eleesha

A path is narrow way or trail ,esp. one formed by the frequent passage of people

                                                                                -Grolier (Webster Dictionary)

Life is like an hourglass ...  eventually , everything hits the bottom and all you have to do is wait it out until someone comes along and turns it around.

                                                                                                        -anonymous

Life is like an hourglass and we humans are like dry sands passing through a narrow tube from an upper glass bulb into a lower one.

Have you seen an hourglass ? in this modern world hourglass is being replaced by a clock. In ancient times they use hourglass to measure time by an hour but in our world today clock is being use to measure time by seconds, minutes , hours to one day .

if Life is likened to an hourglass , can you imagine that our existence is being measured by time ? not only in time but also in taking course of action. We do not wait for the time to pass us by ,we also work for it. If we humans are the content of this empty vessel therefore , we are part of a great design and whoever created this ! He maybe had a great plan ..............

Did you know that we are created to fulfill our destiny ?

and our destiny is to walk into the path of righteousness for we are created according to thy will.

Be careful in making decisions for they are two path to be chosen ......

Be aware of the two gates :

" enter ye in at the straight gate : for wide is the gate , and broad is the way , that leadeth to destruction , and many there be which go thereat :   - MATTHEW  7:13 (KJV)

Strait - Narrow.

Clarke's Commentary on Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate - Our Savior seems to allude here to the distinction between the public and private ways mentioned by the Jewish lawyers. The public roads were allowed to be sixteen cubits broad, the private ways only four. The words in the original are very emphatic: Enter in (to the kingdom of heaven) through This strait gate, δια της στενης πυλης, i.e. of doing to every one as you would he should do unto you; for this alone seems to be the strait gate which our Lord alludes to.

For wide is the gate - And very broad, ευρυχωρος, from ευρυς, broad, and χωρος, a place, a spacious roomy place, that leadeth forward, απαγουσα, into That destruction, εις την απωλειαν, meaning eternal misery; intimating, that it is much more congenial, to the revengeful, covetous heart of fallen man, to take every advantage of another, and to enrich himself at his expense, rather than to walk according to the rule laid down before, by our blessed Lord, and that acting contrary to it is the way to everlasting misery. With those who say it means repentance, and forsaking sin, I can have no controversy. That is certainly a gate, and a strait one too, through which every sinner must turn to God, in order to find salvation. But the doing to every one as we would they should do unto us, is a gate extremely strait, and very difficult, to every unregenerate mind.

~ "Many walk in a wide gate"  to simplify this phrase many people enjoyed the easy things in life . They enjoyed doing things that will satisfy their wants and needs specifically from our  fleshly desires without knowing this will never lead us to any direction instead it will lead us to destruction.

"Because strait is the gate , and narrow is the way , which leadeth unto life , and few there be that find it . "    -MATTHEW 7:14 (KJV)

As with the word destruction in the previous verse, the word life seems to clearly have eschatological meaning. In other parts of Matthew the word life is used to stand for eternal salvation.

What is meant by restricted is somewhat in doubt. The term can be read to mean that the narrow route is overcrowded, but this contradicts the idea that only a few find it. Luz notes that it could imply that the route is a hard and difficult one to follow, as the sermon has implied the proper path is one of tribulation and suffering. Another view is that the proper way is so narrow that it is difficult to find, and requires effort and searching to find.                                    -en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_7:14

on the contrary , "narrow is the way" to explain further , it means that there is no easy way for walking the right path and few people who discover it .only for those who believe... and believing is not from the flesh but from the spirit within with strong faith to God.

"enter ye not to the path of the wicked , and go not in the way of evil men.       -PROVERBS 4:14

Avoid it , pass not by it , turn by it , and pass away .                                                -PROVERBS 4:15

for they sleep not , except they have done mischief  , and their sleep is taken away  , unless they cause some to fall.                                                                                                          -PROVERBS 4:16

for they eat bread of wickedness , and drink wine of violence .                             -PROVERBS 4:17

~

Evil are restless , they are sleepless and they can only sleep if they cause you trouble .

Evil want you to be one of them , to be an "EVILDOER".

And never stop from haunting you not until you fall.

They offer you everything what your flesh desires including your ambitions , money,  fame , etc.

in a matter of choosing the wide gate your soul will be traded from your selfishness and greed.

"but the path of the just is as shining light , that shinieth more and unto the perfect day.      -PROVERBS 4:18

~

No one had experience to have a perfect day. because the day in earth is not as perfect as the endless days in heaven.

Upon choosing the right path , spirit will be ascended and you will experience eternal bliss with God.
