Stare into the eyes of the girl weak enough to need you.
Lean against the crumbling walls that used to hide the truth.
Hide inside the caverns carved within a thousand sad songs.
Listen to the lonely lyrics as she fights to sing along.
Hold the hands of the desperate souls that you never meant to lead.
Brush away the spilling tears as she continually bleeds.
Read between the lines that long for someone who wants to stay.
See beyond the splintered shell and hold her anyway.
