AUTHOR'S NOTE

It took me great amount of mettle and seven months to complete this entire sixty chapters poignant journey. I would have simply stopped writing, had it not become a fiery passion to deliver my thoughts and get an instant response for you people. Thanks for sticking around, and thanks to wattpad for providing us the fabric to dip it in the colors of our choice.

Some people will not be convinced with the idea of helming gray/grey characters because this is a new concept. On the perceiving end, I trash the tendency of readers who categorize the characters as good or bad and white or black. We all have shades of gray in us. The characters you relate to most are conflicted with a mixture of good and bad.

This story pecks at the localized, vociferous poverty-ridden mindset which may, or may not push you toward existential crisis, but will open your senses to a tidbit extent.

This book is a detailed account of two fictional characters Joseph Holden and Ruby. I never knew in my very first book I would embark with a melange of diverse genres; there is action, mystery, strings-attached-romance, the haunting feeling of future. And WTF blockades.

And if at any point, you feel like there is vital context missing, then
it's safe to say, I'm going through a rough patch of NEFD's sequel. I wish @wattpadstudios could find the spark they are looking for, and make a web series based on this book. **fingers crossed**

Strong language, black to fade, action, and hell a lot of emotional moments. so, I would recommend you to sit with tissue boxes and don't read it at night. Please, cuz we wouldn't want the neighbors yelling and your parents confiscating your device the other mornin', would we? Haha.
