"I don't know..." I mumble, looking out at the vast lake from high up, my awkwardly pale legs shaking slightly.
"Come on, Melody...it'll be fun.." Raven coaxed, patting my freckled shoulders gently. I look behind myself, over to her. I know she saw the plea in my eyes, but ignored it, gently pushing me closer and closer to the wooden platform's edge.
"R-raven..that's enough...I'm going back down to the cabin..." I whimper, pushing against her weakly. She just shook her head and smiled slightly.
"You're not going back /anywhere/..." She whispered. Before I could ask what she meant, the hand I once trusted shoved me over the edge of the platform, and I knew what just happened. I would explain, but I'm too busy plummeting to my death.
