Chapter-31

Meliodas P.O.V

I woke up when the light came through the window hitting my eyes. I noticed Elizabeth was laying on top of me all snuggled up, which I was really enjoying. I then heard her groan and snuggle into me more in her sleep, she was hiding from the sun and didn't want to wake up. I looked at her gorgeous silver hair deciding to take a small strand, gently twirling it around my fingers.

Her breathing was steady and quiet but I could here it perfectly fine. I then noticed that she was wearing my hoodie she must have stole one again, and she wasn't wearing any shorts which I found odd but didn't mind one bit. I laid there in totally peace watching her sleep for a while Before the door burst open.

"Princess~, capt'n~ time to wake up~" I heard Bans really loud voice, which then led to a whimper from Elizabeth as she tried to his more.

"Ban get out" I said with a cold expression and he understood right away leaving the room getting Elizabeth to sigh. She then looked up at me giving out a yawn I could tell she was very tired. She could barely keep her eyes open her head was barely staying up to look at me. "Sleep, I can tell your tired I won't let anyone disturb you." I whispered into her ear getting her to nuzzle her head into my chest.

After about half n hour Elizabeth woke up again sitting up on my torso right away. I moved to sit up my hands on her waist to keep her in my lap. "Morning" I whispered twisting some of her hair around my finger again.

"Morning" she whispered back rubbing her eyes giving out another yawn. "I'm hungry" she then said looking at me.

"Let's go downstairs to see the others and get something to eat." I said and she nodded. We both then got up getting dressed and then went downstairs. Elizabeth was tackled by Gelda and they were chatting. I went over to the kitchen to get a glass of water noticing everyone was in the living room watching a movie. They all looked like they had hangovers well beside zeldris.

After I chugged my water I went to the living room and sat down where Elizabeth was sitting beside Gelda. I draped my arm over her shoulders pulling her closer to myself watching the movie. Elizabeth snuggled into my hold at I noticed we weren't watching a horror movie which I was kinda glad about, not wanting to watch Elizabeth get scared again.

Once they movie was other we were all deciding on what to do now that it's summer.

"Oh how about we go shopping" Diane said which made us all shake our heads and her pout.

"Arcade" Elaine suggested, I honestly didn't want to go anywhere that we had to pay.

"Let's think of something that we don't have to waste money on" I said getting some to agree and some disagree.

"Let's get drunk again~" Bans voice then budded in and we all groaned yelling 'NO' at him.

"We could be lazy and watch movies playing board games all day" Zeldris then said making some of us nod.

"I feel we should be active for once" King said making some groan but some agree.

"What about we go to the beach and swim then once it hits about dinner we come home and order pizza then watch movies or play board games and such" Gelda then said making everyone agree but I could feel Elizabeth tense up a little bit.

"No" I said plainly.

"Why?" Zeldris asked making me glare.

"Elizabeth almost drowned last time" I said making some sigh.

"I-I will be fine, I-i just don't have to go in the water" Elizabeth said getting everyone's attention and I then sighed agreeing with the idea. We all then got some bathing suits and got in the car driving off to the beach.
