"So this is the cottage." said Trisha, who didn't notice the spider on her back. "It is the best thing we can find."Alex replied, insisting that it was good enough. They continued talking about it until midnight. It just so happened that it was a full moon. Under the twilight , the mirrors were going crazy. The light finally pointed at the basement cellar. "Look! The light showed us a basement door!" Owen said excitedly. "I wonder what is in it?" Isabelle asked. "Probably root beer and wine, as far the eye can see!" Gary said, because he loves root beer. Danny was very rueful, regretting he ever agreed with Alex to be in this cottage. He felt that Alex was taking over. They opened it.
What they found
-A piece of string
-A guitar pick
-an empty beer bottle
-a loom
-a pearl
-bread loaves
-a rope that measures 15 feet
-5 bowling pins
-a pumpkin
-a box of matches
"Aww, the beer bottle is empty." Gary said sadly "If you need me, I'll be weeping outside." Marisabelle came along to help make Gary happier. "Let us go get this stuff. Put it in the chest ok." Alex said. Danny thought in his mind *"Damn, Alex why are you taking over."* . Meanwhile, Gary had been moping around for about an hour. He had wished he had never joined. "Isabelle, why did you join?" Gary asked." Well, I wanted to know life outside. I said to myself I'll come back after a year or two." Marisabelle replied. "Well I promised my mom that I would always protect Owen. He can't handle things easily himself. He wanted to join the 'experience' so I had to come." Gary said, "You did the right thing." replied Isabelle. Gary knew his idiotic ambition of being a daredevil would be ruined, but he had a responsibility. He would give up the lotto win or sell his most prized possessions as long as Owen has safe. "Hehe, uhm, listen I always gave it all. Owen is my twin. If I just let him die, I'll have no brother. My parents can't get another because they're too old, and we were born accidentally." said Gary. "Ok, let's go back to the cabin." said Isabelle.
*Back at the cabin*
"Ugh, damn it. These spiders keep climbing up on my bag!" Trisha said. "Deal with it." Danny said , putting on his shades while doing so. "Screw you." Trisha replied. "I'm gonna make pumpkin pie!" Alex said joyfully. "That's stupid. Your cooking skills are better." Danny , the boy who got a C- for toasting bread, said. "Not like you can. You can't even scoop ice cream to a decent size." Alex said angrily. "Dammit Alex. Your 'sad' life ain't gonna compare to mine!" Danny said. "What the hell are you even talking about dummy!" Alex said. "You know perfectly well!" Danny shouted. Suddenly, the floor snapped. The 6 kids fell and landed in a vortex. "God! What's this now?!" Owen said.
