7. I think Richie isn't afraid of clowns, just Pennywise. He's scared of him because he threatened to out him in one of the most homophobic towns in the US. Honestly, I think Richie's actual fear is himself. Even 27 years later, Richie still feels like he can't tell his truth. He's still pretending he's straight, and he doesn't tell Eddie about his feelings. When Richie and Eddie are looking at the 3 doors, the "Very Scary" door is a closet, symbolizing that both Richie and Eddie feel unsafe about coming out. Being out of the closet is Very Scary for them, so I think that's also part of Richie's worst fear.
