I got to the soccer game earlier than I expected. Today is the start of renewing the yearbook, and we're starting it by taking photos that represent the soccer team. As requested by Josh, himself. I sighed and adjusted my camera's lens. Since the game won't start till' 2, I've decided to just walk around the schoolyard to take some photos of the school. And perhaps, take some photos of the guests enjoying and walking around the yard too.

While I was walking around, I saw a tree in the corner of the yard, surrounded by lots of large grass and flowers on a small hill. Delighted and amazed to see a tree that big, I immediately took a picture of it.

"Hey, Ames! What are you doing here?" I looked around to see Sonic, running up to me with his soccer team uniform for winter. "Hey, Sonic! Just walking and looking around the school to take pictures." I told him, while I delete some photos. "Oh, as expected of you. Starting your work as early as you can." Sonic said.

"Of course, I wouldn't want to get scolded by the vice prez again." I giggled, as we both start to make our way to the soccer field. "Hah, he always makes you want to choke him. Based on what I've heard." Sonic chuckled, removing his red bandana. "What's that for?" I asked, confused. He never wears a bandana when he trains with the team. Or ever.

"Oh. Josh gave it to us for good luck during the warm-up." Sonic said with a small smile. "Oh wow. He really does care about his team a lot." I smiled, as I wore the leather ribbon the camera has. "Oh. Amy, there's something in your hair." Sonic chuckled, leaning to me closer.

I widened my eyes, "Huh, what is it?" He smiled and I felt him grab something on  my hair, "A leaf." As if on cue, a strong breeze passed by us. Creating this warm and happy atmosphere around us, the first time I felt something beat inside of me. I felt my face become red, "Why didn't you told me earlier?"

I shook my head and touched the top of my head with both of my hands, trying to get some of the remaining 'leaves'. Sonic chuckled, "I forgot, sorry." I pouted and rolled my eyes, "Thanks anyway." I laughed and we walked the rest of the way to the field.

*Crowd Uproars*

*Snap!* *Snap!*

I immediately took a bunch of pictures of Josh, shooting the 5th goal of the match. I smiled and took more of the team running around the field, trying to get the ball. I have a special pass that I got from Josh earlier, so I will be allowed to walk at the edge of the field to take pictures.

*Scorekeeper whistles*

The team immediately ran to the other side to construct another game plan for the next round. I immediately took the photo, I checked it but instead of expecting a bunch of serious faces from the team, the photo looked like it was some sort of a game for kids. I laughed and rolled my eyes, "Oh come on guys!"

They all laughed and continued to talk about the game plan, the perfect time to take more. "Amy!" I heard a voice called my name. I turned around to see, ... Josh Smith. I blushed and smiled, "Oh, hey Josh!"

"Have time to talk? I wanna do this quick." Josh said with a cute smile. My stomach was then full of butterflies like I was riding a really amazing rollercoaster. "Yeah, what about?" I said, flashing a smile. "I was maybe thinking, want to hang out with me later? I'm going to a cafe later, and it's on me." Josh said.

My heart instantly pounded louder than before. Oh my gosh. My dream came true. Josh is asking me out? Alone?? O gods of heaven, you really have spoiled me too much. "Su-sure! I'd loved to!" I smiled, trying to get myself together. If I didn't have self-control, I would be jumping up and down now screaming.

Louder than the crowd. I say. "Great! Wait for me at the gate later!" Josh said, before running up to his team. My mind. Is. Screaming.

"Hey, Amy! Thanks for waiting!" Josh smiled. He walked up to me, carrying a large shoulder bag. "Is it too heavy? I could help." I asked him. He shook his head, "No, not at all." I saw Sonic smiling at me and winked at me, behind him, "Go after him, Tiger." He said, as what I can translate from him. I rolled my eyes and mouthed, "Thanks."

"Is something wrong?" Josh asked. "No, no! I just saw a cat." I told him. Flashing him a smile so it wasn't obvious. "Oh, okay. Let's go then." Josh smiled. The walk wasn't very far, it was maybe just 1 or 2 minutes when I and Josh got to the cafe he was gonna take me.

Once we placed our orders and he paid, which he promised earlier, and we then sat on a seat by the window. "So.. uh..." I mumbled trying to start a conversation. He laughed, "Hahaha. Sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable." He said. I shook my head, "No-no! You're not making me uncomfortable. It's just that it's our first time hanging out. Alone."

"Yeah, we only talk to each other sometimes," Josh said, looking at me. His eyes. His eyes were a piercing blue color. It was attractive and very intimidating, but also gentle. His hair, brown, but makes him very attractive. "Ye-yeah. But I'm fine with that. As long as you're here, I'm fine with that." I said. Realizing what I had just said, I immediately covered my mouth.

"Oh... what's that supposed to mean?" Josh asked, with a smile. Huh. Should I tell him? It's been years already and I don't really want to break my relationship with him. ....

Tell him.

"Josh... I've got something to say to you," I said, taking a deep breath. "Hm? What is it?" He said, taking our orders from the waiter.

"I like you," I said, closing my eyes. Afraid of his reaction.
