The time is now

It was early spring when it all started. I was laying across a branch of a sycamore tree as Vali and Biko were trying to plan what we were going to have for lunch. I looked up seeing the sunlight coming through the leaves thinking about my little sister and how I wished she was here with me. The next thing I remember was Biko saying "Damn, she must be really deep in thought if she doesn't want to chime in on the grub." I blinked and looked over at him and Vali "What was that monkey boy?" I asked as he and Vali smiled at me.

"We were talking about what to eat for lunch and you were deep in thought when we asked your opinion." Vali answered tilting his head slightly in a comforting manor. "I would ask what you were thinking about, but it's pretty clear" He added as I looked back up at the leaves and sighed. Biko turned to Vali and asked "What was she thinking about?" Vali chuckled and tapped Biko on the head softly with his fist. "Her sister you doofus" He replied as Biko rubbed his head jokingly like Vali had actually hurt him. "Yeah I guess I should've guessed that." He said making me crack a small smirk.

Vali smiled and walked toward me as I sat up. He waved for me to come down so I did. He propped his elbow on my shoulder and said "Okay, here's what we're gonna do, we're gonna get some lunch so we'll have enough energy to track down Issei and his gang and we'll grab her and poof, we're back here" I glanced at his face expecting to see a joking expression on it, but instead I could tell he was dead serious. He did have a way of making extremely difficult situations seem simple with his words.

I looked him dead in the eyes and asked. "And you suppose they're just going to let us take her? Or that she's going to come willingly?" He grinned "Ofcourse not. Unlike me and Biko, they don't have the full story. Even if Rias is Zex's sister, I'm sure he never told her what..." Vali started to say before I put my hand up to stop him. "Fine." I stated as the sound of a rustling bush made us all turn and Arthur stood at a small opening in the bushes with our lunches.

As we ate I couldn't help but think of Shirone. My little sister who I had been separated from for so long. As I pictured her face from the last time I saw her a tear fell from my eye. I could feel our reunion was drawing near and I was afraid that if I was to push too hard, I would end up pushing her further away.

Arthur stood up and plunged his Excalibur into the ground summoning a mansion that went all the way up just under the treetops enough to remain hidden as Biko started casting protection spells around the perimeter. I looked around and couldn't help but smile as I felt Vali nudge my arm with his elbow. "Why you smiling?" he asked as I giggled. "I never imagined I'd have such a good group of friends. Thank you Vali for everything you've done for me." I said as I hugged him. He chuckled and hugged me back. "It's no problem really Kuroka. Honestly, your goal is the most pure out of all of us. All you want is your sister, if maybe a little more than normal sometimes, but, I don't judge" He said to me with a smile.

As the boys finished preparing everything, a dog with spikes coming out of it's shoulders ran up to Vali and the boys with something in its muzzle. Vali smiled and said "Since I knew we couldn't just randomly go looking for them, I had Fenrir track them and he found their location." I smiled and ran up and hugged the dog tightly as Arthur used his Excalibur to cut a portal to the outskirts of the location. I smiled and gazed into the bright light. At long last the time for me to be reunited with my little sister was here, and nothing was gonna stand in my way.
