ii. yours, mine and ours

a/n: happy sunday everyone! to cleanse me of my sins from last chapter, i'm posting a domestic and extremely-fluffy-you-might-just-cringe piece for you. prompt: a prediction acc tweeting abt how if someone treats their partner's pet as their own, they're basically married. yes i follow prediction accs but i don't always believe them ok??? leave me alone.

"Okay, kids, listen up. Your mother will be home in 10 minutes."

Crouched down in the middle of the disastrous living room was a disheveled Jungkook, looking desperately at the three culprits responsible for turning his girlfriend's living room into a complete mess.

Cat toys and stuffed toys alike were scattered around the room, stuffing spilling out of some due to being bitten by sharp cat teeth. A sack of cat food had been ripped open by sharp claws. Their banana cat bed had been overturned and had somehow ended up flung across the room and hung from the corner of the TV. Scratches littered the new carpet - a new carpet they had bought just last week to replace the old one that suffered the same fate, mind you.

"Aish, what am I gonna do with you three? Your mother will kill us!"

Leo, Luca and Lily couldn't care less. Leo had his big round eyes on the cat food spilling out of the sack, thanks to his own doing. Luca was busy licking his paw, ensuring he maintained his superior visuals. Lily was preoccupied with wrestling a rubber mouse.

This left Jungkook in a slight panic. How was he supposed to clean this mess in 10 minutes?

He started by picking up random cat toys and throwing them into their toy bin.

"Yah, Leo! I just fed you, step away from the cat food!" He dropped a particularly heavy wooden toy on his bare foot and hissed in pain as he chased Leo away from the food. He hurriedly tried to put the food back in the sack, but the hole was too big to hold the food in.

Suddenly, he heard Luca's sharp hiss, and was forced to leave the spilling food to Leo.

"Luca, yah! Leave Lily alone!" And as if sensing an ally, Lily weaved her way through Jungkook's legs. Melting at the gesture, he picked her up from the floor and held her right in front of his face, the mess temporarily forgotten.

"My pretty Lily. Were you scared, princess?" he cooed. "I love you, baby."

"Should I be jealous?"

Jungkook was so startled he almost let Lily drop to the floor. Standing at the entryway to the living room was his gorgeous girlfriend with her arms crossed, eyebrows raised, and a playful smirk across her face.

A large smile appeared on his face as Lisa approached them, Lily squirming in his arms to get to her.

"Hi, baby," Lisa cooed as she took Lily from his arms and kissed her white fur. "What were you and uncle Kookie up to, huh?"

Jungkook would've melted at the sight if only she didn't call him uncle. Uncle?! He did not just spend 12 hours with these three rascals just to be called uncle.

"Babe, I leave you with them for barely a day, and this happens?"

He was brought out of his upset thoughts by her voice and her arms gesturing around them, pointing out the disaster caused by the three L.

"I watch your kids for 12 hours and this is the thanks I get in return?" Jungkook replied and faked a pout, crossing his arms to get a better reaction from her.

Lisa laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck, planting a soft kiss on his pouting lips. "Thank you for watching them for me, baby."

He couldn't hold his smile in any longer. A wide grin spread across his face as he wrapped his arms around her small waist, happy to have her back home. He buried his face in the crook of her neck and let her scent take over him after hours of only smelling her cats.
