My captors shoved me into the room. I kept a straight face as an elegant woman turned to face me. My eyes widen a fraction at her beauty, she had a few smile lines and her eyes were warm and inviting. Her golden hair bounced with life as she made her way towards me. "Hello. My name is Demetria, it's very nice to meet you." Her voice was so soft. She stopped right in front of me and I gave her a small smile. I raised my right hand and saw Terry move in closer, afraid of what I might do.

My name is Diana. Nice to meet you I signed. Demetrias smile faltered but then quickly straightened up. "Well it seems we're going to have to find an interpreter."

I was walking to my car when they took me. It was dark out and I had closed the antique store almost an hour early due to how slow it was, I was excited to go home and take a long bath or maybe even having a girls night with Jackie. As I was walking to my car I heard a muffled shout from around the corner. I slowly opened my purse and gripped the small knife as I inched closer wanting to see what was going on.

"Shut up. You're being dramatic."

As looked over I saw a tall man with his hands in his pocket looking down at a smaller man laying on the concrete floor as he held his hand close to his body.

"That really hurt man. Do you have any idea how long this will take to heal?" The smaller man stood up and I realized that he really wasn't small. Smaller than the other man but definitely tall.

"Shut up Terry. You're being a baby now hurry up we're late." As he turned around Terry took a few steps back and then ran up to him tackling the other man. Oh yeah, a good old fashioned fight. I'm watching this, I haven't seen a brawl since high school. My body still behind the wall I went into a squat position so that I wouldn't be too noticeable.

"Terry we don't have time for this!"

"Ooh but we had time for you to break two of my fingers you jackass!"

"They were getting suspicious! I had to prove I was on their side!"

They rolled around in the ground both of them giving and taking some pretty good punches to their faces and anywhere they reached. Eventually they started moving faster. And then they started moving way too fast for my eyes to catch. Then I realized that wasn't normal, I mean they were moving super fast that all I saw was a blur. I snapped out of my thoughts when the taller man slammed Terry onto the wall cracking it. Both of their eyes were glowing red and that's when I knew I had to get the hell away from them. As I tried to stand up I realized my knees had locked. I hadn't been in this squatting position in years why the hell did I think this was a good idea. I slowly moved my body back wards and landed on my tailbone and couldn't stop from whimpering. I could hear them talking to each other so I assumed they didn't hear me. Scooting myself on the pavement closer to the store, I stopped and tried stretching my legs out in front me.

"Ma'am are you okay?"

I shut my eyes and brought my hands up, knife still in my hand.

"Whoah there. Careful where you point that." I opened my eyes and saw that the tall man was squatting right in front of me and with his index finger he moved the knife that almost caught his nose to the side. I couldn't help but stare at his super smooth skin, I mean seriously this man didn't have a pore in sight. I could only stare nervously debating if I should stand up or not.

"Hey lady. What did you see?" The one named Terry asked as he also squatted to my left.

I shook my head with wide frightened eyes.

I gulped louder than expected as the two men kept staring at me.

"Let's just leave her." The taller man muttered. They both stood up and started to walk away. I slowly pulled out my phone and started to text my best friend Jackie.

Girl you are not going to believe what I just saw. I'm coming over! Should be there in-

My phone was suddenly snatched away and I looked up to see Terry absolutely fuming as he read the draft.

"You little bitch!" His eyes started to glow red again. I didn't think twice as I turned around and got up running away. I made it about five feet away when suddenly he was right in front of me. A startled muffled sound came from me as I stepped back slowly. The angrier he got the more monstrous looking he became. Purple veins started to appear on his temples. My eyes became blurry with tears when a loud voice boomed behind me.

"Terry that's enough!"

I ducked and took a side step as the other man looked at Terry calmly.

"Malik you're really starting to get on my nerves" he sneered back. I noticed a liquid starting to come out of his mouth. At first I thought it was drool but as it dropped down his chin it was much thicker and had a blue sheen to it. Slowly his shoulders started to expand and his fingers looked like they were having spasms. Suddenly claws appeared. Even his face started to change, becoming longer and sharper. I covered my mouth and let out a small shriek not able to contain myself. He was so ugly!

"Terry you need to calm down I don't want to hurt you." Malik responded. Slowly his eyes also turned red and started showing his veins but he didn't transform as much as Terry had.

Next thing I knew I was thrown against the wall I had been hiding behind knocking the air out of my lungs. As I tried to regain my breathing I looked up with blurry eyes and again could only see a blur moving around. I closed my eyes still working on breathing in and out slowly but I just couldn't catch up. I started to feel lightheaded and eventually passed out.
