Naveirah felt relieved under the clear, blue skies where she was acknowledged by the lightness of air. She was standing on a harbour and could see her reflection smooth on the crystalline waters of the lake. A step was taken back by feets, she teased her hair back and smiled. A man, rather charming and tall came walking towards her.
The man smiled as his perfect full lips parted their ways and his bright blue eyes lighted up. He possessed gorgeous, chiselled facial features and a pair of thick eye brows. His hair brown, short and well combed, suited his over all appearance. As he came near Naveirah, she realised that he stood much taller than her, geared with broad shoulders, near her.
She was beguiled by this handsome stranger's beauty. Her stomach felt those butterflies, her hands sweated and the heartbeat fastened. The man held her hand as she felt their warmth. She was attracted madly to this man but who was he and what was he doing so close to her?
Suddenly Naveirah felt restless, claustrophobic and breathless. She could still see the stranger looking into her eyes in a deep gaze but that image was now slowly blurring. She could no more see her attractive admirer clearly, as if it was all being sucked out of her vision and 'TING TONG!' Buzzed her alarm.
Naveirah sat up on her bed immediately and saw that it was 4.55am.
'So.....This all had been just a dream then', said Naveirah to herself.
The man, who was so attractive had been in her other dreams too. Who was he and why was he following her in dreams? Does he even exist? Naveirah had so many unanswered questions left in her mind that guaranteed to trouble her.
