"Did you hear that?" Paul murmured.
"Yeah, I did." Daniel whispered."You guys are gonna get in so much trouble," said Abbi.
The boys were on the floor in the middle of the living room. Playing with a oijia board. While Abbi was in the kitchen making some snacks for them to watch a movie when suddenly the TV turned on with a bunch of static on the screen, the volume was really loud.
"SHUT IT OFF PAUL!!"
He shut the TV off and then everything was quiet. The two boys got their fingers back in the board then Daniel asked a question to entity they thought to be in the stone suburban household.
"Are you evil?"
About 5 minutes passed when the wooden triangle moved slowly to the word 'Yes'. Paul was startled by the answer the demon gave to them. Daniel sat up straight and got ready to ask the next question when Paul just blurted out loud words.
" What do you want from us? Does it really take you that long to answer us? Why won't you show yourself to prove you're real?!"
"You shouldn't have done that Paul." Said Abbi.
The lights started to flicker and the cabinets started to open then slam..bang..bang..bang. A plate of chips flew across the kitchen, to the living room and broke on the white wall of the living room. Abbi got pushed and hit her head on the counter. Then she fell to the floor. Her chest wasn't moving anymore. She was dead.
A bunch of paper and other stuff started spinning rapidly around where Daniel and Paul were. The lights still flickering.
"Dude! Abbi was right, we need to stop!"
"No! We need to keep on going 'till he stops!"
Paul let go of the wooden triangle and he collapsed to the ground. The whole room suddenly got pitch black. Then Daniel got his phone out, the only thing that was illuminating the dark room.
He got up and looked up to see that he was surrounded by a bunch of tall men in black cloaks covering their faces. He wasn't sure if they even had faces. They were chanting in a language that Daniel didn't understand. They started to get closer and louder to Daniel making him feel closterphobic.
He pushed away and with his phone he ran downstairs to the basement where he was never allowed by Abbi and Paul's parents. Locking the door behind him, he leaned against it with the men chanting faster and louder and banging against the heavy wooden door.He slowly went down the old dusty staircase looking the his left to see what was down there. He saw some plastic sheets draping from the ceiling. An orange like light in the distance caught his attention, he slowly walked without making noise, carefully pushing the plastic sheets to the side. As he slowly made his way the the light he could feel his hands tremble with fear, before he could take another step he was grabbed by a cold black hand as he fell into what seemed to be a never ending pit, until he landed on a cold cement floor.
Everything was dark. He stood up and suddenly he saw fire around him. He was In the middle of a pentagram in flames. Like a ritual. Daniel could feel himself getting weaker by the minute. His sight began to become blurry. He saw the men in the black cloaks chanting a different chant, and there were more. Multiple. Millions. The chants got louder. He covered his ears trying to block the chants, but they were too loud.
As he turned around, he saw Paul behind him chanting along with the other men. Only his eyes were completely black. Abbi was next to Paul only her head was twisted in a inhumanly form. She was also chanting the same words. Her eyes were red like the the flames that bursted out of the pentagram. Daniel couldn't feel his legs anymore. He fell to his knees and everything began to go black. He passed out.
