They bullied you, said you weren't pretty
Teased you, cause you weren't skinny
Laughed and jeered, thought they were being amazing
But they're too blind to see what they're missing
Abusing people has made their minds go numb
And their hearts go black, devoid of feeling love
But time has healed you, made you tough
They've done too much, you've borne enough
Its time to get down, nice and rough
You've been silent for way too long
It only got you into a denser fog
You went too deep, and then got lost
To find a way, with yourself you fought
Harmed yourself, it was all for nought
Even though, your only fault
Was being too kind and being too soft
Words unspoken, let them free
Be whoever you wanna be
No one can ruin you, you must believe
Their saying so, doesn't make you weak
Show them all what you can be
Superman isn't the only one made of steel
Not being pretty doesn't make you ugly
Not being skinny doesn't make you fat
You really need to understand that
Its your beauty they can't stand
They're just jealous of what they can't have
But now its time to take a stand
I'm right beside you to hold your hand
Make a fist, let those fingers bend
Show them you know how to 'fend
Bugs like them, they see your strength
Too late for them to make amends
Seek revenge and then forget
All those things they did and said
Time to move on, they ain't worth the worry
What they're like, isn't your burden to carry
Your no less than anyone, is all you need to know
Your a good person, and you don't have to show
