Chapter 5

Y/N POV:

It's been a week since we all grouped up. We found sleeping arrangements for everyone. The house arrangements went as such.

For my house I had Ruby, of course, Velvet, Jaune and Sun. I reckoned that having Faunus to help with taming would be the best decision. Their animalistic nature makes them have a better connection to the Dinos as seen with the Main clan of the Island.

Next up was Jessica, she took Yang, Pyrrha, Blake and Fox. She wanted strong and capable hunters who could fight to protect and attack. She has the power ideal in mind. Plus she likes the idea of having more members to help her maintain her Sabertooth clan.

Tristan took Weiss, Nora, Yatsuhashi and Coco. He wanted people who were strong and had good sense of design for building tech and structures. Nora was extremely versed in demolition so she was basically made for the job.

And finally Amy took Scarlet, Sage, Neptune and Ren. Ren was well suited for planting and caring of anything living and due to the Tribe possible knowing where she now lives the other three were there to help act as Body Guards for her until she can wake Bankai up.

Ruby and I were currently flying around spotting scouts for The Militia as we now call them. We noticed that that they were heading the completely wrong directions of the houses so we were relieved but we shot their dinos to make them think they were close. We were on the way home when a rumbling sound caught our attention. I saw what looked like a large crack form in the center of the island. It created a scar like pattern as a purple light shone out from the crack before an Obelisk rose from the crack as it hovered above the large crack.

My eyes widened. Not another one. I looked towards the crack seeing creatures of new species crawl out as they quickly scattered into the forests. Some I recognised as normal dinos but with a bioluminescent factor applied to them. I took out my camera and started to take pictures. The crack started to grow what looked like weird crystals and trees that seemed to be apart of a completely different Biome. It spread before it stopped forming a perfect circle in the center as the scar leaked radioactive energy.

"Is that normal?" Ruby asked holding onto me as I flew the Pteradon down to where the Obelisk totem was. I landed and hopped off as I quickly gripped the totem as I started to pull it upwards as metal sliding on metal was heard. Some of the creatures started to draw closer looking extremely hostile.

"Y/N! These guys don't look friendly!" Ruby shouted as I continued to pull up the platform as the creatures drew closer.

"Just a little more... THERE!" I shouted as I gripped a lever as a platform opened up to reveal a crate. I ran towards it dodging what looked like a creature mix of a vampire and a monkey as the light burned its skin. I opened the crate and saw 4 new journals. I quickly grabbed them as I ran back to the Pteradon as I snapped the rains and it quickly flew in the air dodging all the small little creatures.

"Y/N, that was too close..." Ruby said hugging me tightly. I hugged her back as I quickly got on the radio. "Emergency meeting FOB location ASAP." I said as a few seconds later I heard all leaders confirm location as I turned our direction and flew towards the volcano.

We made it there as everyone else was already there. I hopped off and helped Ruby off as well. Amy walked up to me as did Jess and Tristan as we walked side by side as a unit as everyone else followed.

"I'm guessing you saw it too?" Tristan said as he pulled out his camera and showed the photos of the Obelisk from his house. I nodded.

"That's not all, knowing how the Obelisk work I ran towards the center piece and I lifted the platform." I started before we arrived at the meeting room. I reached in the bag and pulled out 4 new books. My team looked stunned.
