She had been borrowing time. And she was running out of it.

When ICON called her to start her job in Germany, she had postponed it to complete her internship with Hunan TV. But the truth was, she had planned to be Dylan's assistant.

When they started their relationship at Hualien, she knew timing would be their biggest enemy. She knew this day would come. Selfish as she might seemed, she did not want to regret her decision.

It was time to make things right for him.

"Ying-jie, Hsu-jie, thank you for meeting me." Yue said. She was grateful that Hsu-jie agreed to come for the meeting. She started to share how she got messages from Shang Yan, the blackmail, the involvement of Ah Peng and Dylan's reputation was at stake.

"Hsu-jie is looking into the legal aspect of this. I will do whatever I can to assist so this will not go out to the media." Yue said, biting her lower lip.

Hsu-jie said "Yue, thanks to the recording you had, the special force police are collecting evidence. They found out that he had been blackmailing other celebrities as well. I will let them know about Ah Peng. That will be of great help."

"They need to find the photos of us in Hualien, Hsu-jie. Those are the ones he is using to blackmail me." Yue continued.

Ying-jie was in deep thoughts. Yue watched her, waiting for the storm to come. "Yue, you could have kept this from me. Why are you telling me?"

"Because....I love him. This is the only solution I can think of."

Both ladies looked surprised. "Yue, I didn't know," Hsu-jie started. Yue smiled weakly.

Ying-jie drew her breath and looked at the little girl in front of her. "Does he feel the same way?"

Yue nodded.

"Are you aware of his contract?" Ying-jie asked.

Yue nodded again. She could not trust herself to speak, afraid that tears would shed anytime.

"I'm sorry, Yue. You know how this will be eventually."

Yue looked down to gather the strength, before speaking again, "Ying-jie, I need you to promise me that you will help him through this."

"Of course, I will. Anything to protect Didi. He is our family."

"Then, I will do my part. Can I have at least till our trip to Chengdu?" Ying-jie nodded.

Hsu-jie put an arm around Yue's shoulder. "I know this is tough for you, baby girl."

"I will survive. Now let's get this son of a bitch."

Ying-jie gasped. "Language, Yue!"

Yue laughed a little. "I learn it from Wang He Di."

Something pulled at Ying-jie's heart. She watched Yue as she left the room. The way she protects him so fiercely moved her. It was unfortunate that Yue had fallen in love with the rising star of China.

When Yue stepped out of the room, she did not expect to see him. "Didi!" She exclaimed. Dylan narrowed his eyes, figuring out what she was up to. Then, he scowled. "What are you doing in Ying-jie's office, Yue?"

At that moment, Ying-jie stepped out her office with Hsu-jie. "Oh hi Didi, I didn't expect you to be here today." Dylan's glare softened. "Yes, I need to see you. Are you available?"

"Anytime for you. Oh have you met Hsu-jie? She runs your biggest fan club in China."

Hsu-jie took Dylan's hand and shook it firmly. "Wang He Di, finally we get to meet! Do you know I'm your biggest fan?" Dylan blushed. Yue was quietly chuckling watching his reaction.
