"Only one favour?"The god chuckled. "Only one."
Nodding my head, I grab a firm hold of Tesus' hand, shaking it as if to confirm our little agreement. I was about to let go seeing as how physical contact wasn't something I was really comfortable with, however, I stared at the god in confusion as he refused to let go of me. It was getting uncomfortable and awkward honestly. Just as I was about to complain our linked hands began glowing a soft purple. "W-Wha- ?" I stammered over my words as warmth blossomed on my palm, the sensation travelling throughout my entire body. It was ticklish!
Before a smile could dare twitch upon my face, my hand was freed and instead a mark was left on the back of it. "Unlike other gods, I'm unable to provide blessings and or jobs for my followers. I hope this can suffice in place of that." Tesus smiled at me although I didn't quite understand. Looking at the symbol it was actually quite pretty. The base of the shape was a diamond, and twisted around it was a dragon. The head sat atop of the shape while the tail trailed down, Only to stop at my wrist. Now although the design was to my liking, I was curious about what it actually did.
My gaze lifts from the symbol to the god suspiciously. "Will this curse me. . . ?"
"Hm? Of course not. Let's just say. . . It will give you a bit of an Advantage amongst others."
". . . Whatever you say." I sighed a little, unable to see through the entity's intentions. This guy sure was good at hiding things, almost too much so. Before I could ask anything else however I felt a soft tingling sensation at my feet which compelled me to stare down, only to gasp sharply in surprise. I was fading away from bottoms up, rather quickly as well! "Tesus! Wait a fucking second- I have more questions to ask!" I shout, heart thundering in my chest at the amusement the so-called god showed on his face at my slight panicking.
He lifted a hand and caressed my cheek with the softest of touches. I flinched a little from the sensation but didn't pull away. No harm would come to me after all. It seemed like the man was happy with my reaction though considering the light hum he made. "Don't worry. . . We will speak again if you can get to Reuma in one piece. I'll watch over you closely as well and send you my best regards on your way." Although he was reassuring me I just. . . It was odd. I didn't want to leave his side just yet. I frown and glare at him, my lip quivering. "Hey- Hey! . . I don't- I'm not ready for this. . . !"
"I'll be sending you amongst your classmates in Slirin, the western kingdom of Tzerai, a land in which the majority of the human population roams. Don't fret. . . I promise you will be alright." I was disappearing more and more by the second, my vision starting to turn black. I grasped Tesus' hand, holding it tight. I was afraid, but I had no other choice but to trust this God's words, taking a deep breath and letting all the emotions drain from my face. 'Lock it up Arso. Lock it all up. . .' I thought, calming myself down.
"Do your best, I put all my faith into you. . . I'll see you soon. Let's hope you will show me even more of your interesting expressions by then." Just as my world faded into black, I could see the god smile, but this time it wasn't as warm as it had been before. Although he was a godly being, it seemed this beautiful man was also a little bit scared. To think, he'd be so worried about me despite trying to play it off. I guess this means I really will have to do my best so I won't worry him.
And so, my descent into another world had begun, starting with nothing but a black void.
"It's just like before. . . I'm not falling again, am I?" It was as if my senses had disappeared like before when I first met Tesus. However, this odd state didn't last for very long. A sudden light appeared in front of me, shining a soft purple. It was so bright, I could barely see anything at all.
