*Aundrea's P.O.V.*
It felt like I had just fallen asleep when I had to wake up. Its not like I sleep normally anyway, but I really needed sleep today because I had a huge exam today and it decided my future in the ranks.
"Aundrea wake up!" Maddi yells. Yet this is nothing new she always yells. I love waking up to yelling. It happened at my house all the time that's why I moved out. I am ever so glad that I moved out because now I am with friends, friends the understand.
*at the school*
I sit down in class with Maddi. Clara was already there. Michael was not there yet he's normally not there yet anyway. We started talking about the exam and where we wanted to be placed in the ranks. Clara did not have to take the exam because she was new to the school and therefore automatically aces the exam.
Michael walks into the class and I get up and hug him and start talking to him about our plans for that night. We are supposed to be going to his house and playing video games with Maddi and Brice. As soon as we sat down the teacher walks in and the exams start.
*after exam*
"Well I think, I failed that exam! How do you think you think you did Maddi?"
"I think I failed it too, and I hope to god that the results are not in by the time we get home, because if they are I will not be able to go and hang with y'all tonight. Stupid parents!"
Finally I get to my locker and I opened it and a note fell to the floor. Maddi picked it up and read it out loud. It said: "Meet me by the woods if you want your friends to live to the end of the month." Maddi stood there wide eyed at me, her mouth wide open in shock. All I could think was she could not have read that right, she has to be joking around. I took the note from her read it again just to make sure I read it right.
I gathered my homework and walked out the door Maddi trailing behind me and talking to Clara about what had happened. Michael tried to talk to me, but I just ignored him so he went and talked to Maddi and Clara too. When he was all caught up, he came back to me and told me that he wanted to help me.
"Look I can't put you in danger. If any of you died, it would be the worst day of my life and apparently this person seems to know that too. So I need to do this on my own." And I walked away to the woods.
*the woods*
I had been waiting for over an hour and the person still had not shown up. I had decided that he or she was not going to be there. So I got up and started walking away from the woods. That had to be the worst mistake I have ever made.
