Alanna

I watch the lights blur past, quickly changing to flashes of green, as we leave the city behind us. My mind wanders, conjuring up different scenarios of how the next two days will unfold. I am fully aware of the presence of Ashton's hand on my thigh. My face heating up at the new thoughts taking over my mind. Ashton hums along to the music softly playing in the background, his fingers tap lightly on the steering wheel to the beat.

"We're here." My eyes travel to Ashton, my smile matching his before returning my gaze to the window. I watch as he pulls into the driveway of a beautiful log cabin. Tall, beautiful trees surround the cabin for miles. I follow behind Ashton as he opens the door, rushing across the room to place our bags near the bed. The wall next to the bed is a floor to ceiling window, allowing the moonlight to shine through. A large flat screen TV is mounted on the wall in font of the bed. Underneath that is a little fireplace. I grab my change of clothes, passing by Ash, who is in the kitchen putting away the limited about of groceries that we picked up on our way up here, and walk into the bathroom.

----

"Are we there yet?" I huff, clutching my chest. When Ashton asked me if I wanted to go on an 'adventure' this is not what I thought he meant. I figured driving 3 hours away from LA with someone you hardly know, is an adventure enough. Not hiking through a forest.

"Don't be so dramatic." Ashton chuckles. "We're almost there."

"I am NOT being dramatic. I'm chubby. The only exercising I do is running toward food and away from danger." I let out an embarrassing laugh before my body collides with Ashton's. He turns to me abruptly, a scowl on his face. His hand grab my face, squishing my cheeks so I'm making a fish face.

"You are not chubby. You have curves in all the right places and I think you are sexy." I instantly feel my face flush from his compliment. Ashton pecks my lips before releasing my face, only deepening the flush on my face.

This time I'm paying attention when Ashton comes to a stop again.
