Chapter 12: Truth be Told

It has been a few months, after Unicron's defeat and Optimus loosing his memories as Prime, though everything was fine and back to the way it was, but retrieving the Iacon relics has been the top priority of both Autobots and Decepticons.

Right now, you learned from Knockout that Bumblebee wasn't using his wheels to catch up with him. This was a surprise since all of you has a T-cog since it's part of your biology.

You were asked to accompany Knockout and Breakdown to retrieve the third relic in the mountains. Soundwave ground bridge you three there, but you were mostly in your thoughts, which Soundwave and Megatron noticed.

"Y/n." Megatron called for you.

"Yes, my Lord." You said, giving full attention to the warlord.

"You have been in your thoughts lately. Ever since Optimus was in the warship. Care to explain?" He said.

"I haven't been able to, to recharge well, e-ever since Unicron's awakening, that's all." You said, looking at the floor for which you lied.

"If that is so, I would like to know why you haven't reported anything from your scouting missions. Is there something you're hiding from me?" He asked threatening you.

You backed away a little, as Knockout and Breakdown were looking at you with a questioning look. You felt Soundwave's concern, since he was the only one who knows where have you been lately.

"N-No, of course not." You said, though stuttered, which gives away your nervousness.

"Very well. But if you would not bring the relic back here, I assume that we both know what will happen to you." The warlord said.

Did he found out that you have been with the Autobots? No, he can't have possibly known. You just nodded and went through the ground bridge with Knockout and Breakdown.

"Soundwave, make sure you have a connection to Y/n's comlink. I'm sure that she's hiding something from us." Megatron said as he leaves Soundwave.

He didn't want to do it, just to keep you from any trouble, but he must obey his lord and master, so he did what was told.

"Y/n to base, we're now at the third relic, I'll send my signal to you." You said through your secret comlink to the Autobots.

This surprised the Warlord as he asked for a ground bridge to his surveillance chief. He did what he was told and he opened the ground bridge.

Meanwhile with you, Knockout was using the second relic, pushing Optimus and Arcee to the edge of the mountain. Bulkhead was fighting Breakdown while you were trying to pull the relic, which is the Forge of Solus Prime, but as you were trying to pull the relic, Bulkhead crashed beside you as he helped you in pulling the relics. Once you two were able pull the relic, Bulkhead showed it to Breakdown.

"Mine's bigger." Bulkhead said.

Breakdown just charged at him but went flying towards Knockout and breaking the relics he was holding. Suddenly a ground bridge opened behind you as you were hit by Megatron as he fired on you.

"Well, well. I can see you have been secretly helping the Autobots, by giving them your signal to OUR RELICS!!!" He shouted pointing his gun at you.

"Funny, I can't believe you just noticed just now." You chuckles as you brought out your guns.

"Megatron!" Optimus said as he and Arcee also brought out their guns.

"Ah, ah, ah." Megatron said, pointing his gun to Bulkhead as he was on the ground.

Megatron picked up the relic and thanked the Prime and you. Soundwave came through the ground bridge, mostly worried for you.
