Goodbye, Malibu!

It was the last day of high school.
Thea just graduated and and was packing her stuff for the goodbye ceremony in Malibu high.

She was planning not to go but her mom forced her so she had no choice.
You need to know that Thea hates school, so she was happy when it finally had ended.

During the bus drive to the huge building on top of a little mountain she was thinking about her vacation in Camp Rosevelt. She had heard so many amazing things about the Camp and about the soccer teachers there.

Thea loves soccer more than anything in this world and when she heard that the camp has a very good team, she was flashed. The last vacation before University with soccer and a lake sounded perfect for her. She immediately talked to her mother Barbara about it. First she was a little concerned about the fact that her daugther would live 4 weeks in a camp without electricity.

But after a while Thea convinced her.

And when she arrived at high school she had imagined hundreds of ways her holidays could go.
She could become best soccer player of 2013 or she could join the team and they would have a chance in winning the summer cup.

But when suddenly her best friend brought her back to reality she had to put her hopes behind and tell Caroline about her ideas.

Caroline had been her bf since kindergarden and she was very happy to have her .But Care was not like Thea. She loved going shopping and hanging out with boys.

Thea hated boys since 9th grade and because of that Caroline never introduced Thea to the cute boys.

"What are you going to do?"

"What do you mean", asked Caroline

" I mean in Summer break, dummy", giggled Thea
"Are you getting out of here ?"

"Why?! No, girl, I love Malibu. Nice Beach and more important: Nice surfers!"

"Oh, yeah, boys...", mumbled Thea

"Come on T, are you always going to hate them just because the "thing" that happened to you when we were 14?"

"It wasn't a thing, Caroline! This boy broke my heart and also destroyed any chance of me falling in love again, so don't call it just a stupid thing!"

Then she continued running up the hill for the last 500 meters until she reached the main building.

Thea had left Caroline behind and she also didn't follow her, because for her it was just something that happened a hundred years ago but for Thea it felt like it had happened yesterday.

She entered the assembly hall and searched a seat to sit down. The walk up here wasn't that exhausting but the fight with Caroline was, so she needed rest.

After a few minutes the door opened again and Caroline walked in. Immediately a few girls jumped up and screamed through the hall.

"CAROLINE, DARLING, WE'RE RIGHT HERE"

But Caroline was looking for Thea. She didn't turn around so Care couldn't see her.

Then she sat besides the girls still looking for her best friend. But Thea was hidden well, sitting in front of a very tall guy named Charles.

And then the principal entered the hall and walked straight to the stage.

Then he began...
