It's me. In that case, I decided to post it on tumblr as well because why the heck not.

Roman and Remus are twin brothers, and one of them is the heir to their kingdom.

Their father, King Romulous, is very well known for bringing peace and prosperity to the kingdom and rejoined past alliances with neighboring kingdoms. He is very well loved and respected by the people in the kingdom along with other rulers.

Everything is going great. However, a few days after the twins turn 5, King Romulous tragically died on a boat ride to another kingdom for a huge meeting with all the other royals around the world, leaving behind a gigantic legacy for the twins.

Since at the time Roman and Remus weren't old enough to be king and also due to the fact that their mother had died after she had given birth, their uncle, Thomas, took over ruling until they turned eighteen. The day after they each turned eighteen, one of them would become king. He also was also in charge of the two twins (by that I mean he was like a father figure to them in a way.)

So Roman and Remus had a childhood. There's nothing really to say about it. Their childhood was as normal as it could possibly be. (Besides the fact that during their childhood they had to take lessons on how to be a proper king, take fencing lessons, and, when they were i their teen years, how to properly communicate with other rulers and just,,,all that stuff that royals would do.)

A few weeks before the two turn eighteen, Roman and Remus have a small competition to see who the heir will be since it was undecided.

Long story short, Roman ends up winning the competition. Remus ends up getting jealous of Roman but ended up keeping it to himself. He honestly didn't care about the competition. He didn't care that he lost. He knew he'd lose.

Remus was jealous since Roman was always the better one. He would always be the winner and people always preferred 'perfect prince Roman.'

He ignored it, not letting them onto his perfect brother. Roman was perfect, he wouldn't have time for 'wild prince remus', as he'd overheard people call him.

It wasn't until the night before Roman's coronation-as in, the evening of their eighteenth birthday-that all those feelings came rushing back to him.

He eyed his mourning-star in the corner and began plotting his plan.

Remus was going to kill his brother during the coronation.
