Your slow ascent out of slumber was long. Sunrise already? Just a few more minutes of sleep, please...
...
Your back suddenly felt cold. No body was pressed against it. Shin wasn't holding you.

"S-Shin...?" You groggily mummbled, turning around in bed.

You found the spot completely vacant. Shin had gotten up out of bed earlier than you. It wasn't unlike him - he always was able to be energized in the morning, something that baffled you and your drowsy awakenings. Your vision was still blurry, peering off the bed into your room. As more and more sight came to you, you saw something immediately infront of your view, but off the bed.

A dark purple smudge... no... a dark purple thing? Rag? What was it?
...

A sudden warmth burst on your cheek, the pressing force leaving as soon as it came. The sudden nature of it had you taken aback, and you reflexively jolted, tail shocked up.

"Ahh!" you eeped, eyes adjusting.

Then the vision came clear as you tilted your vision up. It was a figure. Dark purple. God damnit, it was-

"Shin!" you accused.

"Heheheh, hej~... godmorgon, sleepy head." Yep, it was him.

You sat up in bed with him standing on the bedside. Adjusted to actually being awake now, you questioned the feline.

"Why were you just... there?"

"Fufufu~... Terra... I had woken up, but didn't wish to disturb you... you looked so beautiful." His words prompted you to blush, and his smug grin accompanied it.

You stretched your arms and let out a hefty yawn, taking a moment to get your blood flowing. Shin spoke in the middle of it.

"I've already prepared some croissants and bagels down in the kitchen, Terra."

You abruptly stopped stretching.

"REALLY?!"

Shin's face grew ever happier, his cheeks tickled pink.

"Why yes, Terra. My boyfriend deserves to wake to a treat, no?" His voice was so cheery and gitty...

"Thank you, Shin..." You softly spoke, sliding out of bed.

You landed standing beside Shin, and couldn't resist his half-naked body. You wrapped your arms around him and pressed your bodies together in a tender embrace.

His silky, lush fur was like heaven's touch against your more rough, thick coat. Your partner returned the cuddle, and rested his head onto your chin. His fluffy face nuzzled against yours, euphoric comfort oozing with every movement. His feline engine began it's purr, and you held him tight. You were at loss for words, only able to reply with a purr in turn.

Your grip became tighter. Not harmful, but Shin was immobile. This situation... everything... so many thoughts were blazing through your head. The fact he was here... with you... the fact you were in a romantic relationship... so free... so blissful... him being yours and you being him.

Your awakened tearducts opened up and let out the rain. Your breath heaved lightly, your body shook. Tears of joy and disbelief. Shin caught on right away, and instantly began tightening his arms around you in understanding. He spoke softly into your ear.

"...Terra.... it's okay.... it's okay... I love you....... and I.... can't really believe this, too...."

And with that, you knew everything was going to be alright...
