At first Lindsey is going to be sad. I PROMISE it won't be like this for the whole book. Just hang in there. I have it all planned out ;)

When you lose something... you feel horrible. You feel worthless for being stupid enough to lose it. You feel like life hates you.
Imagine losing everything.
............

Everything was grey. The clouds. The sky. The people. Me.
She's gone and it's all my fault. Why did I lie? If I had just gone to celebrate her birthday with her, none of this would have happened. She's dead because of me. My mom is DEAD.
I sat their, looking out the window, full of sorrow. I looked down at all of the tiny people and wondered what hardships they had gone through.
Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted by a cheery women's voice over the speaker.
"We will be landing in Sydney in a moment. Please buckle your seat belts."
I sighed and fastened my belt. I just wanted to get to Aunt Arlie's house and go to bed.
Let me explain. After my mom died, my Aunt Arlie offered to take me under her wing. I would be staying with her and Uncle Christopher until I head off to uni. They were the only ones who offered. That's my family for you.

.........

After I got off the plane I looked for Aunt Arlie or Uncle Chris. I finally found Aunt Arlie holding up a sign with my name. In her arms was my new baby cousin Kyle.
"Hi Lindsey," Arlie said kissing my forehead.
"How are you?" She asked with a concerned look on her face.
"I'm..... Fine," I said giving her a small, fake smile.
"Can we just go home? I'm really tired."
"Sure thing sweetie," she said as she guided me to the exit.
.......

"Christopher sends his love. He is away on a business trip, so it'll just be the three of us," Arlie said as she opened her car door.
We had just arrived at Arlie and Christopher's house. The ride here was mostly me staring out the window and Aunt Arlie listening to her radio.
Aunt Arlie was a dead ringer of my mom, just younger. Instead of being 45 like my mom, she was only 26. They shared the same curly brown hair, Dark brown eyes, and dainty noses. Every time I looked at her I felt a pang of loss.
"Okay," I said as I slid out the car.
I went to the trunk and pulled out my suitcase. That's right. One suitcase. Its all I needed. Still more than I deserved.

I had more in this chapter, but WATTPAD deleted it. Basically what happens is that she goes to bed. I have decided to update every Sunday, so be expecting that ;) Love you guys, vote & comment ideas!
