Reader’s Pov
I looked around as I held W/O/C. I didn’t know where I was but I was a F/C kind of robot thing. I didn’t have control over my body as I used my W/O/C to hit another robot that had a kind of red and black scheme going on. I was confused as to what was happening.

I hit a bunch of other robots that looked like the last one. Then six other robots appeared. One was red holding a sword, one was blue holding a crossbow, one was green holding a staff, one was yellow holding a chain saber and shield with sharp ends, one was black holding a sword and the last one was pink holding two daggers.

And then I was woken up by my older brother. “What do you want B/N,” I asked. “Well, for one, we’re at our new home. And two, you’ve been asleep for basically the entire car ride.” B/N said. “I’m getting up,” I said. I pushed B/N away and got out of the car. I stretched my arms and looked around.

My family and I had moved to Benham City because my parents had both gotten better jobs here and got us all to move. I didn’t really mind as I didn’t really have a life back in the old place. Or in other words, no one really cared about me. I walked into the house and ran to my room.

“This is going to be hard to get used to,” I said. “Yeah no duh. Now hurry up and get your stuff so you can go exploring. I know how you like to explore the new places.” B/N said, ruffling my hair. “Yeah yeah, can you not touch me.” I said going back to the car. I grabbed two boxes at a time and went back to my room.

I placed the boxes inside it before leaving and closing my door. “I’m guessing you didn’t unpack?” dad questioned. “Not like there’s a point. In two months we’re leaving anyways.” I said. “Have some positivity. This may be our permanent house.” Mum said. “I doubt it. Anyways, I’m going to explore.” I said.

“Stay safe.” Mum said. “Yeah. I’ll try to be back before its dark.” I said. “Okay. Please be careful.” Dad said. “I will.” I said. “And be back early, you have school tomorrow.” Dad said. “Okay.” I said as I left my house and started to explore. Benham City was really big and there was a lot to see.

I went to a park that was pretty big. There was space for a lot of things and there was even a soccer field. I decided to approach the soccer field and saw that a game was going on. I stood to the side and decided to watch it. There wasn’t much people and it seemed they had a lot of bright hair colours.

It made me wonder whether or not they dyed it. I smiled as I watched them play. They all seemed very competitive or looked like they were having fun. I turned around, about to leave before I tripped over something and fell. “First day in this City and I’m already falling.” I said.

“Are you okay?” A guy with red and black hair asked, holding a hand out to me. “Oh, yeah.” I said, grabbing his hand and he pulled me up. I noticed he was one of the guys that was playing soccer just now. “Thanks.” I said. “Your welcome. Are you sure your okay?” The guy asked.

“Yeah. Sorry I just moved here and wanted to explore.” I said. “You don’t have anything to apologise for. I’m Guren. Guren Nash, want to come meet my friends?” He asked. “Sure. Oh and my name’s Y/N L/N.” I said. “Cool. Come on.” Guren said, and I followed him to his friends. There stood six brightly hair coloured people in front of me. Mostly.

“These are my friends.” Guren said. “Ceylan Awesome Jones, the funniest guy around.” the blue haired guy said. “Toxsa Dalton. No one can beat me in a game.” The green haired guy said. “That’s not true Toxsa. I’m Chooki Mason.” The one with dirty blonde hair said. “Gen Kurai.” The dark haired one said. “And I’m Beni… Nice to know I don’t have to deal with these boys alone.” the pink haired one said.

“Hi. I’m Y/N L/N.” I said, waving my hand a little. “Wanna hang out with us?” Ceylan asked. “Uh, sure.” I said. “Any good at soccer, been meaning to get Toxsa off our team.” Ceylan said. “I know how to play. Not exactly good at it.” I said. “That’s good enough for me. Toxsa, your out.” Ceylan said. “Hey!” Toxsa said.

“It’s not like you exactly like play sports.” Chooki said. “True.” Beni said. I smiled as we restarted the game. I played with them for a bit before tagging out. We stayed at the park for an hour, playing soccer, talking or just hanging out. I felt happy because it was the first people who wanted to be my friend in years.

“Okay, we all should head home.” Chooki said. “Yeah.” I said, not too excited to go home. “Let’s go.” Ceylan said. We all walked together before we had to split. Chooki and I walked together for a bit before I got to my house. “You live here?” Chooki asked. “Yeah.” I said. “I live just next door.” Chooki said, pointing to his house with his thumb.

“Cool. Thanks for hanging out with me today.” I said. “No problem. I’ll see you tomorrow.” Chooki said. I nodded and walked into my house. “So, you made friends.” B/N said, resting his arms on my head. “B/N, get off of me.” I said. “Okay, but you made friends right?” B/N asked.

“Yeah. But I doubt we’d stay here for long.” I said. “We might. Anyway, help me with dinner.” B/N said. “Sure.” I said, going to the kitchen. And with that, that was my first day in Benham City.
