Mirror...

I'm here to say, stand, and declare.

That you do not own me.

You can't hypnotize me, critcize me, or mesmerize me

With your lies of beauty.

You won't blind me, damage me, or tear me apart

With your unattainable standards.

And I won't let you corrupt my heart.

Because though I am only a boy,

Insignificant, unimportant, and insecure in the eyes of many,

In the eyes of those that matter I am

Indispensable, Precious, and Certain

and I am Lord without reflection.
