It is a special thing to say
to hear a word about death so vague.
Yet it defines everything
from the beginning until the very end.
And so I asked and talked
with everyone, from every aspect of Life.
Define death, and make a change.
'Death is living without the hope of living', said a cancer patient.
'Death is breathing without any means of breathing', said an asthmatic boy.
'It is falling in love without the one you want to fall in love with',
said the broken man.
And so I made a hasty inference
that Death negates everything Life creates
until a wise man approached me,
and changed everything:
'Death is the sweet caress of Life's burdens,
a pat for one's sore back.
It is what Love is,
of setting free someone so dear
from the difficulties Life give'.
